Actually a sniper is at 45k work in vanilla. The values were based on the standard 1600 work for smelting a weapon which seems a reasonable estimation. 6k work removed for doing in bulk seemed fair.

If you would like to change for your own use
1) Download local copy in mod menu
2) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods\Ingots\Defs\RecipeDefs
3) Open the Recipies_Production.xml file with notepad
4) Modify the number in <workAmount>10000</workAmount> to your desired value

Also 10000 work for a bulk job is a bit much imo. Making a sniper rifle is only 750 and far more complex.

This is fantastic with Resource Dictionary.

Fair. Will post if I can fix it.

I switched away from this version back to the original. The changes you have made produce strange behavior such as being unable to melt down golden armor. This must be what the original creator meant by "weird issues".

It sucks, because its nice not having the config errors with this version.

Yeah I'll add the rest of vanilla metals soon. Note you can set up auto smelting with base game using recipe thresholds.

Trenton Quarantino I like that idea, steel ingots (100 = 1), then even more storage into billots (1000 = 1 or 10 ingots).

You should add steel and maybe even plasteel to this. With the right mods one could automatically smelt down their ingots as demand for the metals increased.

Sorry but the short version is no not right now, It would require some C# which I haven't figured out yet with Rimworld

I'm busy this weekend but will look at that next week

Any chance you could make them cross usable as metal type as a 1-1 vs the 1-100.
It would be useful to make things like floors from an ingot instead of 100 gold.
