Remove all other mods and see what happens.

I seem to be experiencing a strange bug, where dampeners are actually less powerful than manual thrust. Not sure if it's a game bug, or a bug introduced by a mod.

Love this mod, but have to ask if there is a way to get rid of the x10 dampening? In a config file or something? Perhaps it is just the way I fly, but I find coming to a stop that fast in a dog fight more of a hindrance than a help.

I made them work again. Just the audio error that you suggested that I ignore is still there. Thank you for making such a wonderful mod1!!

This is my go-to thruster mod. But, for some reason my mod is broken (per the logfile). Is there a successor to this mod?

I've noticed that several blocks have incorrect build states. For example:
Modular thruster Half Rampback Right L Large (Large Grid)

Come to find out, the problem I had was just a minor fluke that happened during game/save load. All is working fine, and I use this on ALL my ships!

Another thing - if you're ever up to it - is if you could at some point add the 2x1 thrusters to go in the other direction (90 degrees), please - and thank you!

Thanks @Spacebar, for clearing that up. I couldn't find an expensive application that would convert the 1 offending file from PCM to ieeefloat mono. I deemed the process as too tedious.

The sound error is very minor and is not causing crashes and can be ignored. As for copyright, I still own the rights to the models themselves as I made them

But, it's a sound error. They function as intended.

These are absolutely the best thrusters, without being too OP on take-off. The breaking force is stunning ad that is why I want to fix, rather than just dump this mod. I will look into a fix for this.

Assuming the copyright of a game mod could be 'overdue' it would probably be from the time the mod was last updated. But I believe the modding community abides by asking for permission and respecting the response. Unless you're LSG, of course.

The copyright is three years overdue; it is perhaps technically OK to fix and republish this mod (should probably credit Spacebar though) - if someone wants to take this over!

I don't think Spacebar is modding anymore. I haven't seen anything new in 2 years, and he definitely hasn't updated anything lately. His account is set to private now (I think it used to be public).

So no, this error hasn't been fixed. Sad, because all my builds incorporate this mod - so I'll have to find something to replace it, and not use any of his other mods at all!

Pretty good armour but armoured thruster mods are stronger

As far as I know there isn't plans to include more tiers because there basically is tiers at the moment

And I don't know any mods including these thrusters but you could try coding your own one if you wanted

How do these hold up against armored thruster mods?
Any plans to include tiers, so people may have reasons to grind or scavange these blocks.
Are any of the modular encouter mods incorporating these thrusters?

I like the design of these but unfortunately the engine light seems to penetrate the ship blocks and just flickers constantly, im sure this is keens problem and not the mods

any chance you could make a version for the beta? as right now if you copy and paste with this it crashes

So i noticed the dampner affects where times 10 in build info. But i cant find anything here that states it should be more then 2? is this a recent changed or did i miss something?

thay do work decently well on planets

Does anyone else have issuees with the atmo performance of these thrusters? They are really strong in space and up to low orbit, but I can not use them to take off from a planets surface. Even with alot of them.

Extra great mod Spacebar as always, i just wish to ask a question, why are the slope thrusters only available in one way and not in two ways ? By that i am going to post a link to a picture on imgur, to demonstrate what i mean, i was hoping to put those on my ship but i'll have to find an other way it seems !

Hey Spacebar! I'm running a MP server and had some people request I include this mod in our newest iteration, problem is the thrusters (most of them) don't have collision for the armor plates around the thruster ports themselves. Another issue we're seeing is there's no thruster damage.

We'd love to use this but as is, it's a little busted. Could I perhaps beg you to fix this excellent thruster mod so me and my strangers can have fun with cool spaceships that have badass thrusters?

We would be eternally grateful to have this gift bestowed upon us, never would be deign to forget this heroic feat of science.

This variant doesn't seem to exist.

@Jackson, they work in both Atmosphere and Ion without the need to use Hydrogen as fuel, but they require a lot of power.

Do these thrusters work in atmosphere or are they the same as Ion thrusters?

is there a more sensible version of this mod balanced against vanilla thrusters?!?.. it's kind of insane just having 2 of these thrusters and it being like 8 times more effective than like 10 regular ions in the same direction and yet being the same size..

the only time i'd be fine with this is if the power cost is waaaay way higher than ions and even then i'd be a bit iffy about using this mod :/ :q

if not then oh well, i'll just leave this mod behind but i would appreciate a alternate version.

I've not seen this behavior on w4stedspace's streams. This sounds like desync.

Not sure if this is known, but the thrusters bug out with energy shields. It bounces around if the thrust particles hits the shield. Not sure if its the thrusters or the shield mod. Shield mod in question is Defense shields mod v2.0(38)

Query: Does it function in atmosphere?

have had many server members with ships needing the be restored today.. as on restart last night they all came tumbling down.

Could be the game engines limit then as we build crap lot of them. :)

These are just regular thrusters with no scripts, there's no way that they're causing bugs with other mods, I've not gotten any other bug reports with this issue. I suggest removing mods until you find the one that's causing that issue because I can't think of any reason my thrusters would cause anything like that
