Found a bug:
As soon as I try to start the quest battle for Eltharion's talisman, the game stops and exits to desktop. Tracked it down to this mod and had it run solo, with the required objects and the required objects without this mod. Doesn't matter if you start from the campaign map or the main menu.

yeah, that would solve it, but I can't actually do this right now, the scripting interface lacks a way to do this and CA would need to add a function for this

if it resets those ranks after an upgrade, isn't possible to get this current rank unit to store in memory before the upgrade, then an upgrade happens it will restore the stored ranks to this unit?

I could add a rank requirement, but the downside is you'd lose those ranks on upgrade, so it's an iffy decision for me.

I was just about to ask about SFO version, but with them trying to add banners, I would say hold off on it till you see whether or not you're going to need to create two or three different updates just for Venris to update his mod.
