I think just based on your mindset during creation, I would say they can easily be slotted into the canon! I would say they are probably of the fire element faction.

@Monagression I haven't put much thought into it. I definitely try to make my characters to fit the aesthetic of the game, so getting the lore is just one step over. I would love Kaboom to be part of the original game lore.

this has to be my favorite character, rivals seems to be built on gimmicks, and this is the essence of that concept, kaboom does one thing, and he does that one thing perfectly

Increase explosion radius (bombs are hard to explode on enemys) but make it so that only a couple bombs can be on screen at once, like 2 or 3, that will prevent spam and if your bomb is about to explode and there are bombs all over the screen you will take damage, and lastly make fspecial and uspecial deal damage to you so they arent as spammable and fits with the new less spammy panda (Just some ideas)

@Dextro: Yeah, I was really struggling with that bug, but now it's fixed :) Thanks for pointing it out

@Sa-v: I can't tell you how many times I've read your review, and it's made my day better. I've got some complaints that people just fill the stage with bombs, and I've tried to explain that, that strategy is flawed and weak compared to using the fuse mechanic strategically. Hearing that you understand and appreciate that mechanic just makes my day. So thanks for that. Any hint on what some of those "number tweaks" should be

is it normal that when im doing up tilt and explode that his hurtbox stays as if he would be doing up tilit because his hurtbox away from the sprite

This is a beautiful example of a character built around one concept, and that concept pushed to wonderfully elegant simplicity. Excellent work. Some numbers may need tweaking here and there in order to make him flow a touch more naturally, but I love him already. Kudos!

hey there, just wanna say that the fuse count looks really good now, also the Bair is better now too. i think the new fuse counter helps a lot with doing moves and stuff, because my eyes couldn't follow the numbers. i love the new kaboom, NICE WORK!

I like him, he feels like more riskful Liz tbh. It would be funny if his up special send him further when his bomb is on short fuse, maybe even he could be lit like fox when doing so. So far he is really decent and has different playstyle than Mollo. I had a lot of fun playing him with my friend, so he isn't really annoying to play against which is rare for spacers. Really good work.

this is a really good character, the fuse counter could use some work, but it's an interesting concept nontheless. it's a nice character all around.
