Would love to see this fully animated. It shocks me there isn't a Mexico civ in the vanilla game and I'd love to use this I just think I'd prefer animated modded civs for the sake of immersion. This looks really cool, though!

@sewergators @EsotericNixonism the maker of the map has to add a TSL spot for the civ. No official map has TSL spots for for fanmade civs.

Whenever I try to play TSL it wont work. Is it compatible with TSL?

is anyone else experiencing the problem where yout try and start a game with this civ and all you get is the black "loading, please wait " screen ? its been stuck like that for 5 mins

@el Corpus if your game's language isn't English, the cs will be renamed to Mexico City's name in that language. If that's the case for you, you will have to manually edit the XML file like I did (you can open it with the regular notepad).

this is a good mod, with a civ that makes sense, leans on a mechanic otherwise ignore in game, and is actually balanced. wonderful job

For some reason, the San Antonio city-state shows up on the map labeled as Mexico City (but it does show up as San Antonio in the city-state list). Otherwise, great mod.

I have added TSL support for this civ on one of my maps and was even able to create an alternate start for Mexico City as San Antonio, as per your adjustment. The problem is that every facet of the city state has changed to San Antonio except for the name of the city on the map. I cannot even add a city map name change for some reason, it simply doesn't change. Any ideas here?

This is probably my favorite mod ever!
Anyway, it seems to have TSL support for Ynamp, but when I try it with Porfirio (or any leader compatible with your Mexico civlization, like Maximilian II), I start with 0 units, making imposible to play even if you enable random locations for civilizations with no TSL. Is there any chances for this to get fixed? I love to play with this mod at random maps, but it would be legendary to play it in a world map!

Finally i found out why ynamp support for giant earth map is actually not working. The predefined TSL 139/48 becoming overwritten in the "map" file of ynamp giant earth to be actually a volcano, thus becoming an invalid TSL and setting of starting units fails. So i suggest to change ynamp giant earth TSL support to 139/50,which represents the city of "Texcoco" in ynamp, a city pretty close to Mexico city. Also this solution avoids inflections with Aztecs as your solution obviously intended. Well i just tried it with the different TSL for Mexico in GEM map and it works. Plz change the TSL for everyone to ensure ynamp TSL support. You will make a lot of people happy
