I kno this might sound a bit stupid and Its a bit late but If u disable the mod will the perks still be there????

where is the book located

when i used it it sets my skill to 100 but it doesn't learn all the possible enchants like it says. is this normal or a bug?

Honestly, I do not think this mod is really a cheat. It simply saves you from hours of grinding by enchanting hundreds of iron daggers. Nothing I couldn't do, there are just simply so much better things to do in Skyrim than grinding for hours. Good mod, 5 stars.

@Lord Cthulhu, this mod doesn't change the enchantments directly. Do you have any other mods installed which change the enchanting skill tree and cause a conflict?

is it possible that it added the skill to 100 but it didn't learn me all the possible enchants?

@SERV3 I see. Thank you, I think the game did overcalculate the EXP needed to add to to the skill, with a green XP bar as a consequence. I'm a little confused, though, that the game didn't actually level the skill up to 100 and then added the extra but just did not level it at all. I didn't have any other mods affecting the skill tree at the time (the mod perk I mentioned for the enchanting tree was added only AFTER I'd already activated, used and then deactivated your mod).

@lucid_axe, That's strange. All the Perkless books work in exactly the same way. Do you have any other mod which changes the Enchanting skill tree which could conflict with this? If so, disable those then use the book again. If not, take a look at the section about the green XP bar in the FAQ. Hopefully this helps :)

It does not work like Perkless Alchemy did; for some reason it adds a permanent 'boost' effect rather than actually upping the Enchanting skill levels for me. That was a little disappointing seeing as I added another mod perk that required 100 Enchanting and this meant I still had to go through all the levels regardless. I don't know if this is just in my copy or a general issue.

In short: I would like this mod to work exactly the same as the Perkless Alchemy one does; levelling up your Enchanting to 100 instead of adding an 'enchant boost' effect. It did still add all the vanilla perks as intended.

@Daveinator103 & @Kundra, have you tried what I suggested in the FAQ and previous comments, which explains the common fixes?

Yeah I tried both I restarted my steam and that done the trick

@▲NocturnalFS Have you tried waiting for the launcher to finish synchronising subscribed mods before you pressed play? That's a common problem so I'm going to tell the devs about it. If that doesn't work make sure it's enabled in the data files list.

Still cant find the books

Yea I had a little bug there I had to restart my steam and skyrim before it actually started to work.

@aLLu #TheDream The books should appear in game as soon as you install the mod. Sometimes the launcher doesn't fully download the mod. Make sure the launcher says 'Finished Synchronising Subscribed Mods' before you press play.

Do I have to start a new game after I downloaded the mod?

I can't find the book, I know where the place is but there is just 4 other books what does not give any levelings.

@JadePhoenix This just gives you the perks and sets your level to 100. It shouldn't affect the number of enchantments you can have on an item directly.

Is this the one that allows you to add 9 enchantments to your item?.... I use to have it somewhere, but I guess it got deleted off my mods list

@Bagel Man Not everybody has that problem. Only a few out of the 15,000 who currently use this mod have the problem. I then help them and the problem is fixed. The problem is the game is still glitchy. Just take a look at the change log for the Unofficial Skyrim Patch [www.iguanadons.net]. I should update the FAQ to give more solutions so less people have to contact me about it.

Everybody seems to have a problem with the smithing and enchanting books. I don't want to sound rude, but doesn't that make it your problem?

@Bagel Man Seems like you've found a bug in the way Skyrim calculates the amount of XP to add. Try using the forceav comand to set the skill to a lower level then manually level it up a bit. Once you've done that use the book again and the issue should be resolved. Hope this helps :)

Right okay the "player.forceav smithing 100 and then read book" method did not work at all.

The level is green and when I view the skill tree it says I'm still at level 25 or whatever.

This one and the the smithing book won't let me have the perks. :(

@yutokigai01 Seems like your launcher has glitched. Have you tried the 'It's not working. What can I do?' section of my FAQ? It says the common cause for this.

hey serv3 no they dont appear on the console list...and everything is enabled

@yutokigai01 Do they appear to be listed in the console? If not then make sure they're enabled in the data files list and try the solution in the 'It's not working.' section in my FAQ.

hey im having the same issure where my game will not register the enchanting and the smithing perks....both are green at 100 like they're magically enhanced not actualy lreveled (white)

thnks i just had to open the data in the opening page and seect al of the books

@lpminak If it happens with more than one mod then it's definately steam or the game causing the problem. Did you just leave steam open or leave the game launcher open to download the mods?

i Love this mod collection and used it 2 playthroughs ago.. but i tried getting these mods again but the books dont show up, and i have waited for the mod to load but i never see any loading take place and its frustrating esp when i leave my steam open for hours waiting for this to download and also un and subscribing. any ideas??
