i like that you respect the subtle sounddesign of the game
- added winch, piston, decoupler noises
- custom sound attenuation and normalisation now applies to bombs, shrapnel cannons, crossbows (?) and all break/collision sounds
- retuning of sound levels for some blocks
- fire noises
- wheel rolling on ground noises (sorta)
report bugs if possible
-decoupling
-cannonball/shrapnel/crossbow bolt impacts
-pistons extension/retraction
-a unique sound for saws, as compared to drills
-metal impact sounds for armor
-splashing sound around water cannon impacts
-a more hiss-like sound to steam
I also want to add that I've dreamed of a sound update to this game, so god bless
- For the wheel, drill, and saw:
if possible (I suspect it might not be), a correlation between rotational speed and sound, regardless of the "speed" setting on the block would fix the wind-down problem, since as the wheel slowed, so too would its sound appropriately change
- imo impact sounds feel generally too quiet, and (again, if possible) maybe force, rather than just velocity, could be taken into consideration for volume
- also for volume, wheels and the steering blocks feel too quite to me. But maybe that was the intention, given the 'subtle' part of the mod statement
- sound for flamethrower/vacuum/water cannon
- a way to disable certain blocks' sounds, though that probably already falls under configuration
like, when u rev a nissan gt3, u get a bad ass back fire sound, and the sound of gear chages at certin speeds
I'd love some block with an engine sound
-it would be better to replace the sound of the saw with the sound of a miter saw.
-it would be nice if you added a way to change the volume of the sounds but it seams your already doing that
-other than that this is an amazing mod that adds something that we all knew besiege was missing.
