1. "loose" is probably not the correct word here (as in "my pants are too loose"). I changed mine to "GAIN" and "LOSS" as in "GAIN" on signal, "LOSS" on signal.
2. Even when moving directly toward or directly away from the transponder at speed (approx 40 knots), the screen flops between signal GAIN and LOSS, although it does tend toward the correct reading. However, it switches back and forth frequently enough that it is somewhat difficult to tell if you are gaining or or losing the signal until the distance itself changes. I wonder if something could be changed in the script?
