it doesn't i had to remove i manualy by commenting it out of the encounter lists as i said

Hey, this mod should remove the existing 'cerberus guardian' standalone enemy. If that's not the case, then thank you for letting me know.

for those of you wondering i think i fixed the issue
if you open the XComEncounterLists.ini file in the base guardian mods config, then you comment out the lines for its encounter info then the game will no longer spawn in the rogue second guardians
if you use this mod i recommend you do this since it means your computer is no longer loading multiple of the same asset because of there technicaly being 2 versions of the same enemy

any way to set it up so that it disables the base guardian enemy?
iv noticed the way the mod is in it's current state is that it treats the reskined shieldbearer and the guardian as 2 seperate enemies (if you notice they have their own entries in the shadow chamber report)
while this might not effect the game on a surface level it's gonna effect load times among other things since the game treats them as 2 differnt enemies so it wastes time and resurces loading the the same model, textures, ECT twice.
this also to a certain extent effects RNG aswell since the guardian is twice as likely to show up since it has 2 entries in the enemy list

Busy and getting things done, then it all worth it.

I am still playing the two games, though RE2R is about half way.

How is our Master ninja doing?

This one is not working at the moment, so he is busy playing Total warhammer 2 and RE2 remake (it is way scarier than the 98 version, so only play it half hour each day ... in the dead of the night, lol)

for mass effect music, i simply turn off the in game music and play in the background roughly 3 hours of my handpicked favorite mass effect soundtracks in mp3 format. only takes up 245 mb memory too, so doesn't slow down the game at all. give it a try, it's truly an awesome experience when the teammates geared up, walked to the dropship and it took off to a mission and music happened to play "suicide mission" track at the same time! :D

hmmm, lids do have walking animations, so yeah that could work. As for Tygan and Shen, yeah they're easy to swap. Cut scenes though, yeah, no can do.

Finally all the Cerberus troopers. Thank you very much for all your work. The only problem with the full ME conversion is see is noone has made the ME2/3 soundtracks...The guy who did the ME1 soundtrack said he doesn't want to do anymore...I don't even use it. I have been playing using the Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided sountracks instead..

I was thinking about the same things as Kexx, especially the maps. Not impossible, but a lot of work needs to be done to achieve that.

My guess is it is possible to replace Tygan with da professar, Tali with Shen, just need to change the voice lines?

Of course nothing we can do about the cut scenes ... quick skip!

@Kexx Surely Keepers would work with the Chrysallid animation? I don't know if there's a walking animation though.

Well, technically, you can at least write off the earth stuff as BEING Earth. Key would just be figuring out, say, Palaven, Thessia, and etc as their own map styles.

Less complicated but a bit tedious to do, would also be making alien race civilians. Actually pretty easy to do, but sadly no Hanar, Elcor, Volus or Keepers

Biggest hurdle to a conversion would be maps. Making the Avenger into the Normandy, city center maps into Citadel, slums into Omega, etc, etc.

I look back to almost 4 yrs ago, when I had no idea how to mod games, and my wish was to see someone make a ME total conversion mod. Time passed and no one was really doing anything except voice packs.

So I took it upon myself to learn how to make mods, and I remember thinking to myself when I saw the overwhelming positive response to my first mod, my Tali Squadmate mod: "Dear God, people like this. They're really liking this! Maybe, one day, more knowledgeable people will join the cause, and we'll see the ME conversion happen."

This is yet another beautiful step closer towards that goal. And for that, you have my most sincere thanks!!
