This doesn't work anymore

author this mod needs a better description. i have anvil furnace etc all made. i have a hammer i have read the things. I stand next to the anvil. Now what??? i can see other people also have no idea. please add a better explanation

It did remove my lug wrenches too, so I did spawn them back in. I think it changed them somehow, maybe makes them into weapons. But they do still work as lug wrenches too

@xyamoss I had the same thing happen to me. The good news is new ones can be found, at least in cells you haven't explored yet. I just found one further down the road then I'd gone before in a car trunk. I think you're right though that cells you've already visited are probably now empty of lugs

enable this mod in an existing world will remove the lug wrench from your storage. I have three lug wrenches in a crate. enable the mod, all gone. disable the mod won't bring them back. Possibly it removes all the lug wrenches from generated maps. Now, I don't have lug wrench to use, just great.

Can this mod be added to an already existing world?

@Breno: Vários desses itens eram parte da Build 39, mas toda a parte de fora foi descartada e os itens ficaram nos arquivos, não dá pra fazer no jogo sem esse mod. Para conseguir o Workable Iron você precisa usar a forja e derreter itens com metal.

Alguém que joga esse jogo a mais tempo me tire essa duvida, o Lingote de Ferro teve alguma utilidade nesse jogo? ou isso ainda vai ser usado na próxima atualização, nesse exato momento esse item não é usado pra nada dentro do jogo é como se fosse um metal descartável que vai ser usado pra alguma coisa, eu comecei a pesquisar sobre essa coisa do ferreiro porque dentro dos arquivos de tradução do jogo já tem uma categoria de forja de item adicionada, mas você não pode usar na lista de receitas ela pede uma bigorna pra poder criar os itens, já tem revistas e livros de forjas adicionados ao logo, mas não pode ser usado então pra ficar mais confuso ainda eu fui na wiki do jogo o la tem Base.IronIngot Workable Iron não tem nenhuma utilidade no momento ou seja você nunca vai conseguir criar a bigorna usando esse mod porque a receita dele usa um item que eu não posso encontrar muito menos fazer dentro do jogo, to mais perdido que barata tonta dentro de um galinheiro

Ei Soul, primeiramente muito obrigado pelos seus mods. Estou com dificuldade de usar esse mod, ja tentei no single e mp, reuno todo ingredientes tenho os níveis e habilidade mas o botão de craftar fica desativado. Tem algum segredo pra rodar o mod?

I feel way too much ammo is made

I was able to smelt without a bellow. I also found a bellow naturally spawn as well as tongs in westpoint in several play through.

Hii. I have a couple question. Are Bellows required? I heard Bellows don't spawn naturally nor can be crafted and I can't seem to find tongs in Riverside

Are iron ingots even used for anything? I cant seams to be able to craft anything from them. Do i need special craft table or something?

I played on a server where they used the Crafting Enhanced Core mod with this mod, but I cannot seem to get it to work? Any ideas?

I am in editor mode in my MP server and I cant found the magazine number 4 for build ammo...

I don't see the option to make a forge anywhere, I have 15 stones in my inventory...

I clicked "Take barrel" on a water collecting barrel with 138 water in it, and it turned into an empty metal drum I can't place down.

Played with this mod for many hours now... I already read volumes 1-4 magazines of the mod, created the oven, added the fuel from the metal barrels, melted some stuff and yet the crafting system seems broken, i cannot craft anything, not even forks which i already read a magazine for, tried putting the ingredients in my character's inventory but still can't craft anything says i need smithing level 1 but i cannot obtain experience because i cant craft anything, am i missing something???, also what is up with the prizes of the things, 18 forged iron to craft a FORK?, i had to smetl over 30 weapons for a FORK?? WHAT?!. As far as im concerned this mod is broken an very unbalanced, i wont uninstall cause i fear save corruption or something.

how do we gain xp to level up?

The hammer seems to be the only possible option for crafting the anvil. Maybe any hammer? This would enable a more "primitive" play-through, where things like stone hammers may be acquirable, but might be difficult to get a normal hammer.

@trashsouls I thought I had a similar issue for a while, but after testing a bit more, it turns out if you didn't read the first magazine : "Smithing" won't show up in the context menu even in Debug!

Another tip is, that most (if not all) items you craft give you exact same experience no matter how much workable iron they cost. So for faster leveling just keep making the cheapest item.

And last tip, it seems that there are no recipes that require skill higher than 8 (which is when you can make Sledgehammer for example). So no need to stress out maxing this skill.

@Venin: That is correct. If you check recipes you will see that most of them require some skill level for crafting.

Only two recipes require no skill and those are Tongs and Iron ingot. YOu need to keep making iron ingots (and then smelting them back) to level up, after which other recipes will be visible

bro after reading smithing volumes , there are no visible recipes in crafting menu only iron ingot is visible in crafting menu any help

Smithing isn't showing up for me in my context menu when I try to create a forge, the option just doesn't exist.

Quick question if anyone has time to answer, what materials can you specifically melt down with the forge?

You might want to make it take more gunpowder to make ammo, you can make an ungodly amount of ammo since it takes little gunpowder.

Once you have the Metal Drum in your inventory right click the ground to get the context menu. Select "Smithing" and then select "Metal Drum" to place it.

So I pressed 'Take barrel' on a Wooden barrel and not only it turned into a Metal barrel, but it has no function as I can't place it down at all.

can you allow me to craft a pickaxe if its not a thing already?

added this mod to my save mid playthough, read the beginner book on smithing yet i didn't get an EXP boost.
