Also, could you give Starset a listen? Although they're not exactly metal, they do fit quite well into Stellaris I'd say.
song = {
name = "40:1"
}
Make sure the files line up. Open up Stellaris and enable the mod. Begin the game and it should start playing. Check all songs are there. If half the songs are missing. it's improper syntax. Tell me if you have problems.
Rename the asset file to what you named the first text file. Open the two files. The asset file should like this .
music = {
name = "40:1"
file = "40 to 1.ogg"
volume = 0.50
}
The name is what you want to display in-game. Doesn't work. The file name is the song you want it to be. Volume doesn't matter. Keep it 0.50.
Start Stellaris and go to the mod area. Press mod tools and create mod. Enter the name you want and put in 2.6.*. The Directory is what you want the folder of the mod named. Put in the appropriate tags.
Go to documents/paradox interactive/stellaris/mod and find the mod. Add a png image for the thumbnail. In the documents folder, it should look like this.
version="2.5.*"
tags={
"Sound"
}
name="Sabaton songs"
thumbnail="thumbnail.png"
supported_version="2.6.*"
