A: No I didn't, war is a part of diplomacy... yes, you heard it right. In addition to that Total War is -become- a grand strategy.

Explanation:

Strategy: Red Alert, KKND, Age of Empires, Empire Earth, NTP mod, etc. non exist or very limited diplomacy, everyone after eachothers goodies.

Grand Strategt: Still everyone after eachothers goodies but war is last resort. You need to create alliances to secure your unprotected borders and gain allies to attack your enemies from behind (multiple fronts).

The game freezes when Nakai creates a vassal. I'm pretty sure this mod is causing the problem but don't know whether its the mod conflicting with other mods or this mod being outdated.

Diplomacy is so shit in this game...and the "after chaos invasion" is so meaningless to play that this is the only mod that actually fix the diplomacy problem of this game,

Man I was just thinking about an old mod I had that made everyone hate eachother and wishing it was updated, then I found this. It's even better, especially the "It's Total War, not Total Diplomacy" bit, I love it.

Can you make a version where only the player is automatically at war with every faction he encounters ( effectively declaring war when you encounter said faction) but AI plays normally and makes alliances?

@Vandy I thought so, i do remember vaguely playing Throgg and being able to confederate Wulfrik as soon as i beat him in battle. I didn't think minor norsca factions had this ability. For example, Skaeling defeated Wulfrik and confederated him. Was a nice surprise to be honest. I love the mod though, it's absolutely crazy, it's complete chaos. I also use a mod to toggle the fog of war so i can see the whole map and it's great seeing whats going on lol.

@JLH - Yeah I didn't touch Norscan confederation or anything, that's done through those dilemmas after beating another Norscan faction leader in battle so it isn't affected by being stuck at permanent war. I'll make an update when the DLC drops to address this (probably)

Factions are still confederating? I've seen it a few times especially with Norscan tribes.

Bug fix & improvements

- Calls the "don't let anyone do any diplomacy" script every single turn start, should prevent issues with factions getting peace.
- Removed rogue armies from the automatic declarations of war.

there is a problem with the book of nagash rogue armies, you start at war with them on turn 1 and they beeline to you making the campaign impossible. You should exclude rogue armies from the script.

It seems some AI will make peace treaty with each other... Can you stop this behavior by modification? Over all, this is a fantastic mod!!! I love your idea that brings huge challenge to the game! Great Work!
