For the late war skin, they didn't where canvas kilts just a sheet with a pocket in the middle covering the actual kilt so you could see the tartan from the sides and back.

I'm not an expert when it comes to the Scots but since you have a generic blue kilt, does that mean that this skin technically covers Lowlanders as well as Highlanders.
