yes. commons are intentional. they're there to provide light gameplay between charger waves. i thought it wouldn't be necessary to mention them in the description, but i will take your comment into consideration.
Commons still spawn, real big issue when you go into this under the pretense of this being like Tank Rush, where as soon as you leave the safe area/room, tanks, and ONLY tanks spawn, only with chargers here, instead of tanks, while here Commons spawn alongside super chargers, which is an issue when 2-4 hits from a charger kills you.
I'm unsure whether this was intended or not, but some mention of commons would be nice, if it was intentional
oh and you can also like, stand on props and buildings so you don't get *instantly* charged.
