yeah, to my knowledge it doesn't work, I've done over 20 games with it and it doesnt work with/without a save game. It needs an update.

Would it be possible to remove equipment and industry as well? Sure, ai doesnt spam units, but it has millions of tanks in since 50 years..

@mengele a go-go With the Soviet counter-offensive at Moscow in December, the Soviet numerical inferiority was even larger. The idea of Soviet numerical superiority, at least for several months, was just a myth created from German propaganda "We're facing a numerical disadvantage and winning" and all that.

The Soviets would later show their industrial might and numerical superiority, but certainly not at the onset of Barbarossa. I wish the game represented Barbarossa more accurately, tbh.

@mengele a go-go But historically accurate, nonetheless, the Soviet Union didn't mass mobilise for quite some time, contrary to popular belief, which is why Germany had such early successes.

In June 22, the Axis had an invasion force of up to 4.5 million men, Germany itself had 3.3-3.5 million, the rest of the difference bolstered by Finnish and Romanian troops. The Soviet Union, on the other hand, had 2.3 million men in the four Soviet western military districts between the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. Even their tanks were fewer at this time and only 30% of the ones they had were T-34's or KV's, the rest were tankettes.

So what I did was activate this mod during 1945. Despite being involved in some small wars, countries don't seem to be demobilizing. I've tried to activate the events to do so (demob.1,2,3,4) but they don't seem to work. It did work once while I was tagged as Germany (they were the country I played as from the beginning) but for other countries the event did nothing.

It stays active from the beginning and currently there's no way to change it.

Would it be possible to add something that also reduces war support every year that they're at peace after 1942? The Ai always seems to have really high war support and even spies aren't enough to lower it enough.

my only issue with this is that it seems to make barbarossa a lot easier by reducing soviet divivsions drastically by 1941

They should disappear immediately after the event fires, but if they're not you can go in and individually fire the event for them or delete the troops manually.
