Hi mrpiipe , can i use some parts of your training facility on my public server ?
Hamez 25/ago./2016 às 4:27
Is there anyway I can easily edit this to give it a virtual arsenal?
Thanks great mod,
James

Sure

Hi! I've made a mission for Arma 3 and I've borrowed a few scripts from this mission. If I credit you as the original creator of them would you mind if I publish my mission on steam workshop? Thanks.
LTsnowman88 17/jun./2016 às 9:17
i like it but is thire a way for me to make some small changes like a virtual arsenal

Thats a really great Traning map! I had a lot of fun using it in my clan for traning but since the newest Arma Patch the paving is missing... Could you fix that please? :NATO:
DJPrendo 25/jun./2014 às 15:05
Really helpful. Needs some work with the collisions of objects and faces but for a training map its about perfect. Thanks for taking the time to create for us!:sr4sunglasses:

It's a really sweet mock village, I use it with friends and clanmembers alike, thank you very much for this, I love the features in the control panel and the realistic squads, in short, definietly the best CQC training course I've seen.

Do the same ground for battles. Please)

"NOTE: Due to the amount of items it might drop some frames when looking in a particular direction. Also, placement of items isn't perfect (My OCD hates it) but Arma 3 doesn't have a 3D editor" - What you could do is the following:

Make a Trigger (Radio Alpha, Repeat) and set the following text in it: copyToClipboard(str(getPosATL Player));

Now go stand on the place where you want to be and now press 001 (Radio Alpha).
Go back to the editor and typ in the unit you want to place at that location the following in the init field: "this setposATL(CTRL+V);" - CTRL+V of course standing for the pasted location.

This was a really useful training facility. As a new player to the game I found it really helpful. Keep up the good work.
Wally 13/nov./2013 às 11:05
The is a 3D editor hidden away in the game files and it's possible to access it (see for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vss4rtxsI-c) but there's not much info about how to use it and apparently you can't turn 3D editor files into 2D editor files (or vice versa, I forget) but there is software that allows you to go the other way. If you can use the 3D editor exclusively it may be helpful for making a mission like this.

@MoranM Mmm, gotta check that out, thanks for letting me know.
@TGxAltair Yeah, I'll add the ability to skip 1 hour for specific times, I'll do it when I release the next update.
MRN 13/nov./2013 às 6:33

Add an action to the player to add an hour or lose an hour on the time zone using the module (:
MrPiipe  [autor(a)] 11/nov./2013 às 8:23
Cartman, thanks for the suggestion, I forgot about that. Gonna try to make a parameter were you can change the time.
Cartman 11/nov./2013 às 8:04
i would love to have the option to change the time settings. i'd love it to train on your trainingcamp during night time. good job so far though
Panzerfaust 11/nov./2013 às 3:27
good jop
Sulaco 10/nov./2013 às 18:24
Looks great, I'll give it a shot and let ya know what we think!
ThomaHawk 10/nov./2013 às 14:12
I agree with you for the 3D éditor ! ;(
Fire Fyfe 10/nov./2013 às 9:22
Mr pipe this is exactly what i needed, the more we sweat in training, the less we bleed in combat
MrPiipe  [autor(a)] 10/nov./2013 às 6:56
What I meant by player controlled is that is a slot in a multiplayer session, meaning someone has to get in that slot to get play as that character.
MrPiipe  [autor(a)] 10/nov./2013 às 6:54
The ammoboxes use the VAS script, you have to scroll wheel to access the virtual ammobox and choose your weapons there.
The squad is player controlled, this is intended for multiplayer, not singleplayer. The AI in Arma won't shoot the targets and won't move through the buildings fluidly because this is user made content.
Týr 10/nov./2013 às 6:30
with the risk of appearing as a complete idiot, where´s the guns at? Ammo box just has ammo, no weapons.
Also the squad, it´s not AI controlled, only PC controlled?
Fire Fyfe 9/nov./2013 às 17:40
This is exactly what my unit needed!!!
NightWarp 9/nov./2013 às 10:24
Thats a pretty cool setup and idea, hats off !
MrPiipe  [autor(a)] 7/nov./2013 às 13:00
Yeah, too many items will do that. I'm trying to clean it up a bit and hopefully reduce some FPS. If not I might just release a new one with a smaller amount of buildings but separated by a long distance so that there won't be FPS issues.
TWiG [SPOG] 7/nov./2013 às 12:52
Unfortunately the FPS gets pretty dang low for me on this one.. but my machine isn't the best. Seems like it would be quite fun though.
