I noticed that his crouch sprite is incorrectly offset, making it appear in entirely the wrong spot. Any chance you might fix this?

After some feedback and brainstorming I decided to remap detonate to tap special.

I forgot to update the description here so I'll make sure to do that as well to avoid confusion.

loved the character, but i believe that the taunt to explode ball mechanic is not currently working. at least nothing happens when i try to taunt...

I've been less active with Rivals for some time, but I'm definitely not done yet with workshop. There's still a few things about Targma that I want to improve, and I'm (slowly) working on some new content as well. I can't promise any timeframe though since I'm also spending a lot of time on other hobbies right now.

I was thinking about adding some of these (at least the easier ones), but currently I'm more or less taking a break from workshop at the moment. Could be a short break or a long one, I don't know yet.

It takes me months to create characters, and I only want to make my own OCs. Also for now I'm focused on the last few steps to release my next character, Felicia. After that, I'll be working on smaller things for some time, such as stages, bugfixes and maybe a bit of Targma polish if I have the time.

@Djentalist I can't fully remember but I know the fireball from his down B/up smash crashes the game if it goes through his side B's firewall twice. I think there may have been another issue with his neutral B and Ori but I can't remember.

Another general note: I've started working on another character. It will still take me quite some time, but I think she will be fun to play (and have some better spritework than Targma).

Really enjoy this character. A lot of unique ideas for movement. Perhaps you could remap the ball detonation from taunt to double tapping nspecial so you can do it in the air? I also think Fair is super strong for how quick it comes out. I feel like it would be cool to have the move be slower but still as strong just to make it feel really rewarding. Otherwise, I have been having way too much fun messing with neutral special, there's so much you can do with it; it's super cool and I plan to keep messing around with it. Great job!

If I were you I would've re released the mod instead of updating it so that more people see it. Hope this doesn't get overlooked because it's a super cool mod

It would be good QoL if the ball would flash white (or some other visual indicator) as the ball got closer to its despawn timer so we can gauge when it'll just up and vanish much easier. It also doesn't look very good that it just pops out of existence instead of disintegrating or something.

The whole part of blocking people from hitting you or trapping people. You could use it to save yourself on a ledge in the air and it had physics so you could bounce the lava balls off if.

The game crashed when I won using Targma. I was playing against the Abyss character mod. I also noticed that when I used neutral special to draw the ball back to me, it also pulled the Abyss's portal towards me as well. Should I send you my crash report?

@the3dluxe It now prevents you from sliding off (if you use it grounded). The reason for the recoil being so much is because of B-reverse and other movement options it opens. I'm thinking of making a video showcasing some of his more advanced stuff, since I have no idea which things people are able to find out on their own.

@clambchowder Currently you can control the angle of the ball, but having more control over the path could be interesting. I'll experiment with it and see if I can come up with anything good.

Hey, maybe you could control the path of your magma balls, kinda like how Ori does with his light balls?
That would make Targma a bit more interesting and more tactical character.

Yeah, my plan is to finish the character. I work full time now so it might take some time, but I'm really motivated to finish him!
