As i said, the reason for the decision was to make the world unrecognizable with each playthrough and since it's up to the host of the game to change the effects to randomize it, we just auto changed all the focus trees to be random - some arent coded at all - and we did not put effort in to code the AI random paths (it even says in the description of the game rule - RANDOM wont work xyz for y reason) but some do have that opportunity so you'll see Kaiserin Victoria or a communist Japan or a fascist USA, - it makes for a unique playthrough each time.

@Sleepyslav thanks for replying. Road To 56 includes the Cold War so we wanted to continue with a cold war scenario but we couldn't do it because of the ahistorical AI. Thats why I was complaining about stuff.

Hey omka from a dev's perspective as the mod is MP focused we use the "random" focus order for AI and AI decisions to make the world unrecognizable - though next update we will focus on just returning to the status quo of Historical = historical.

RP was never supposed to be played as a historical matchup - it was supposed to create an alternative world each game to allow the players a more unique and non-repetetive expierience.

@tjseabrook Empire Of Japan did not attacked Soviet Union during World War 2 you brilliant man. Even if what you say is true , the focus tree does not fit to it. Hirohito was head of the state and Hideki Tojo was the head of the government. So what you say is not true either. Non-alligned Empire Of Japan does not fit the historical game in Hearts Of Iron IV.

@SevenStars an RP mod is not an overhaul mod. Base Road to 56 is not like that while when you run it with Road to 56 RP, all the historical ai goes off and default custom game rules become ahistorical. What you're doing isn't so smart when you're the one telling that about the other guy.

Secondly Yugoslavia did give autonamy to its puppets

This mod breaks the game bro. Fix it. It destroys the fucking historical game. One time Japan becomes monarchist , one time UK releases its puppets , one time Yugoslavia releases nations , one time China annexes cliques. What kind of mod is that. We had to restart our matches several times with our friends while we were playing historical. This mod is ruining the game.
