My game's in a current state of loading when an avatar used Corrupt Portal, is this a known issue?

@Raze Hi, let me know if you'd like to have a custom image for the Corrupt Avatar thumbnail that shows before you accept mission.

I've made a bunch for several mods such as Flawless, Program, CreativeXenos, etc.

It got dangerous for sure. I decided to take on the Corrupt Avatar without reading up on it, and man. I killed it first turn, then it rose as a zombie. After my turn it slashed the guy who killed it and stunned him, and they both got surrounded by zombies. Ended up with everybody surviving the mission and only 4 injured XCOM, through a lot of planning and a moderate amount of luck.

It was seemingly impossible, absolutely ridiculous, and very rewarding and thrilling to overcome. That said, will probably disable the sitrep for future Legend runs.

Just finished this mission on Commander difficulty. It was on a timed mission for me as well, with the Newfoundland-like map. Had to sprint across the entire map for 5 turns to have a chance at getting the objective, only for 2 pods of high tier enemies, one of which including a Gatekeeper, to be hanging out next to the hack objective. Only managed to kill the Gatekeeper through a Stasis, a lucky stun from my Field Medic (using shiremtc's Proficiency Classes), and luckily starting the mission with a ADVENT unit capable of a 100% to hit, 20 damage punch. Oh, and to top it all off, the turn after activating these two pods, the Chosen Warlock decided to show up.

It was on a timed mission which made it very tough indeed. If your goal was to spice up the endgame then you have certainly achieved that. The corrupt avatar is a welcome addition.

Lost spawns are not added through encounterlist but a 'lost' sitrep tag.

Reading these comments reminds me - I did a test Skirmish of this sitrep to make sure I wouldn't regret adding this (I don't), but no Lost spawned. Are Lost meant to be added to the encounter lists, or is it just when I encounter this ingame it will also have "The Lost" sitrep?

If you try AAIAAM, make sure to grab the mod "Populated Chosen Chambers" as well (It's a mod that finally makes the chosen stronghold fights into proper "boss fights"). It's made by a different modder, but I can't imagine running one of those mods without the other (and a chosen AI mod ofc).

As for your question, I'm not sure. This sitrep already 'removes' the limit. While boss pods exists, they can appear in higher numbers. As for my sample mission above, one deviant corrupt avatar, two gatekeeper's and 6 spectre spawned. Peppered with elite priest, lost and purifiers for good measure. So yeah, I'm not sure how it works. But sitrep uses a custom encounter list. So I believe it won't affect.

That feel when you deploy on this sitrep, and a hunter sectopod from "Even More Robots" shows up and uses it's "Call The Big One" ability.

PS. Does this sitrep interfere in any way with "All aliens in almost all missions"? Because that one enables spectres and andros to spawn as followers, while removing vanilla sectopod and gatekeeper "boss status" (meaning the mission is no longer limited to "only 1 sectopod or 1 gatekeeper", instead each pod has a chance of having one of them).
