Not so good, lower all the NU is not good. Did you make the recipe uses less ingredients too? If not, you should.

Ohhh, the info I wanted is probably in the screenshots? Somehow? If so.. ignore the post below by me. Please :-)

Instead of "4x bread and 'some other changes'", could you elaborate what these other changes are? Please?

@Marido - claiming it would starve your main base, doesn't even make sense, if you already have enough of what you need, now you would simply end up with a surplus of bread

the thing about dried meat is that while it's the most cost effective it's also the worst in terms of inventory space effectiveness, you have to use a lot more slots and carry a lot more weight for the same amount of nutrition other foods give, so that's it's downside, that's what balances it out

ration packs while being the most expensive are also the best in terms of inventory management, they occupy the same space and weight the same as dried meat but have 110 more nutrition in them, wouldn't make much sense for it to be worth the same amount of cats per nutrition point as dried meat

This is interesting, but today this would starve my main base. Why I say this? Because my base produces thousands of dustwitches and it has the right ratio of cactus farms per wheat farms. So, I would have to deconstruct some wheat farms and make more cactucs. I think it's fair, never made sense one bag of flour producing only 1 bread for a bad nutrient ratio

Nice
Lazern 16 mei 2021 om 11:33
@Alcors Ok great, thanks. Awesome mods btw! :)
Alcors  [auteur] 16 mei 2021 om 5:28
@Lazern Yes, it is.
Lazern 16 mei 2021 om 3:15
I think it's too easy to get massive amounts of bread if you have a couple of wheatstraw farms, is it possible the use the "Bread 2x" after "Food Overhaul" in the load order to tone it down while still getting the benefits of the Food Overhaul?
Alcors  [auteur] 31 mrt 2021 om 13:26
@Lazy Fat Cat It already is compatible, I use it too as you can see in my my Kenshin Mods collection above there.
Lazy Fat Cat 29 mrt 2021 om 18:07
you could make this compatible to recruitable prisioners thath would be awesome !!

I always thought it was pretty ridiculous that it took like 8 cactuses to make one chewstick and the biggest farm grows at most 40?? It really just punishes people who wanna have small teams, there really isn't that much challenge to getting food for a big colony, just a small group of 2 or 3.
Alcors  [auteur] 4 jul 2020 om 19:08
@helltake Probably it is, it only affects food prices and the bread ingredients ratio.
Helltake 24 apr 2020 om 7:26
Is this mod compatible with Crow's World Gone Fishing and Animal Food mods?
Jayeee 14 feb 2020 om 2:27
nice mod :)
Serjekk 8 okt 2019 om 18:53
Holy crap I didn't realize that. Thank you for the response mate.
Alcors  [auteur] 7 okt 2019 om 19:08
lol I completely forgot about the cactus mod.

@Serjekk My mod doesn't affect any experience values, your chef isn't gaining exp while "cooking" bread because the bread oven is automated since the game version 0.96, so... your chef isn't baking anything.
Serjekk 7 okt 2019 om 16:37
I've noticed that my chef no longer gains cooking experience when cooking bread with this mod installed. Is that intentional?
Alcors  [auteur] 14 aug 2019 om 8:26
@Tumor Thanks:jimmykid::approve:. There are lower weights than 1kg, the normal bread for example is 0,5kg. This weekend I'll make a mod that balance the things that uses cactuses, you will just need to put it bellow "Food Overhaul" in the load order if you want to use both.
Tumor 14 aug 2019 om 8:15
1kg is the lowest weight without being weightless. The loaf of bread is at least a kg too.

Anyway, your mod is cool, thanks for making it :D
Alcors  [auteur] 14 aug 2019 om 6:49
@Mr. Chiweenie I'm glad it helped you. I never starved to death in Kenshi, even without this mod, you should try to make a thief char(specialized in stealth, thievery and lockpicking), it will help you a lot.

@Maliciousfiber  I forgot to answer, in my opinion it wont make more sense but I can make another mod changing the dustwich if you still want.

@SE 603 Only if you don't wet it in human blood:ripperheart:.

@Tumor Not really if you consider that it's a 1kg sandwich.
Tumor 14 aug 2019 om 3:01
@Maliciousfiber totally agree. Kinda insane that I need 8 cacti to make a single sandwich.
第十智巨 色之巨人 27 jul 2019 om 11:20
these breads must taste terrible
Maliciousfiber 24 jul 2019 om 9:53
Would be nice (and make more sense) to have the Dustwich operate as using 8 cactus for a bowl of cactus paste that can supply paste for 8 Dustwiches. Then using 1 bread and .125 out of a bowl of paste.
Mr. Anonymous 22 jul 2019 om 16:09
Thumbs up. Kenshi is brutal enough without starving to death after starting your own fortress.
Alcors  [auteur] 15 jul 2019 om 17:57
You are welcome:jimmykid:
Mac10 and Cheese 12 jul 2019 om 3:33
You're right it was still there! :P I did not look closely enough. Thanks! Great mod! :happy_creep:
Alcors  [auteur] 8 jul 2019 om 22:25
@Mac10 Is the flour still there or was it used completely to make only 1 bread? It takes time to make 4 breads, it isn't instantaneous. Also check if you have enabled this mod in the game launcher.
Mac10 and Cheese 8 jul 2019 om 19:12
Unless I am doing something wrong, I am still getting 1 bread per flour... Thoughts? :steamsad:
Alcors  [auteur] 17 mei 2019 om 13:58
@Bootz The link to the mod that you wanted is in the description.
Bootz 14 mei 2019 om 22:58
Can you make one without all the nutrition changes? I just want the more bread. lol
Alcors  [auteur] 14 mei 2019 om 19:09
Yeah from what I searched you can make +-6 breads with 1kg of wheat flour in real life, so all that work to make 1 bread in game seemed a little absurd.
Explicitly Offensive Cuneiform 13 mei 2019 om 17:58
This never crossed my mind.
