There never was a map for this theme. PugGaming requested this theme for his youtube series Isle of Wight.

What happened to the map?

I do have other mods yes, a fair amount of assets and stuff. I am trying it on any map that gives me the option to select it, but I will try the Environment Changer too to see if that does anything.

If I could look over your shoulder and look at your computer, I'd probably find it right away. I'll need more information if you still want help.
Are you using any mods? You're trying this on temperate maps, right? Have you tried out Environment Changer Mod by BloodyPenguin, because it can force any map to accept any theme?

Hi! There's a bug at the moment and we're not sure what might be causing this (developers have been notified and are looking into it). Luckily, the solution is super easy.
As you saw, when you start up a new city custom themes are missing (you can't pick any other theme). Start your city using the regular default theme. Save the city, quit to desktop. Restart game, select LOAD save (not continue), now you can pick your custom map theme! :)

I have another trick if that doesn't work, but hopefully this solves it :)

So uh, maybe a stupid question, but once you enable this mod and pick the theme for the map as this, what else do you need to do to make it work? My maps stay vanilla.

Interesting new information about scale! To get true 1:1 scale so that Cities items are true to scale, download your heightmap from terrain.party at its default 18km squared. Pick whichever you like (ASTER, USGS, Merged, etc). Then take that heightmap into GIMP or Photoshop, and multiply the *layer* (not the image itself) by 104.166, have it expand from center. Make sure the GIMP output is 16 bit. Tadah, perfect life scale map
I learned this from AmiPolizeiFunk, it has changed everything :D

p.s. Heather, yes it is going to be 1:1 using the ASTER height maps ;)

I understand. I think Pug Gaming is working on a map like that at the moment, using your theme. Excellent work, and good luck in the future!

That would be perfect for this theme, right? :) I've got too many maps already in progress, it wouldn't be for a long time :/ but I do hope someone is inspired to do so with this theme!

Suggestion Mr Miyagi: How about a 1:1 Scale map of somewhere along the South Downs? E.g Brighton, or Eastbourne?
