I had to reinstall the game and reorder the mods but it worked afterwards

I don't think so, as far as I know there's no other texture for before he joins your party.
This is a straightforward mod, one texture and one portrait replacement. Do other mods work?

I cant seem to get this to work, when i get far enough to get on the ebon hawk it shows HK as his normal colors. Do i need to advance further or something?

P.S. I can give you the filenames (there's 9) but that's not really that relevant and you can check them out yourself in something like drive:\steamfolder\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\208580

That sounds like you have another mod that takes the same technical approach of that mod (the Mission jacket takes that approach), a few of my mods do that and you can only use one of those mods. If you do sub to more than one then you get things like model X with texture Y.
All of my mods that won't work with another one of my own mods mention it in the description.

To get more technical: You have a certain amount of model slots in this game, one isn't used, which is the slot for the Revan/star forge model which was a leftover from KotOR 1. Replacing that slot/model is pretty much the only way to introduce a new model that's not just a reskin/retexture of an existing player outfit.

Mid game is fine, all mods that only replace textures are safe.

The droid factory is part of TSLRCM and you will be taken there automatically at some point, it's not a place you can travel to whenever you want.

for some reason i can't get the droid factory to show up at all. any suggetions?

Are you sure you mean the HK-51's? They only appear in the Droid Factory that TSLRCM adds/restores.

This is probably my favorite Of the HK reskins. A reskin I'd love to see is the HK-51 models with this skin. That way they look futuristic without lacking "personality".
