As I've stated before, if you're having a "plants.pbo error" as you like to call it, you installed the mod wrong. Installing mods does not involve manually copying pbo files into addons folder

Installing mods does not involve copying any files into the addons folder.

@Lethal thanks for the heads up, Ill pass that on as people have issues in the future.

@Lurch As a server owner or player? If you mean player, in your launcher right click the mod, "repair". If that doesn't work, right click the mod, open folder, then enter the @BuilderItems folder and delete the two folders inside it. Then try repairing again.

People not seeing assets are probably not familiar with the new Editor interface. You need to tick "Private objects" for most of map assets now.

If you don't see the items, the mod isnt loaded.

I generated the configs for the new stuff, I want to go through and remove stuff that has no use (theres lots of proxy models that are useless for building with), but Ill go ahead and push the updated stuff unpruned later today/tomorrow.

If you are getting "pbo error". you've installed the mod wrong. You dont touch /addons/ folder for DayZ.

kev772, try unsubbing, restart steam and resubbing. if that doesnt work verify your game files. if that doesnt work then i cant be sure

Cannot get into a server that have played on regular it says i am missing a PBO it says I am missing "D:\steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\;dzsal\@Builderitems\addons\billboards.pbo" I am subscribed to it but still says it is missing can any help with this.

I am reading through this and wondering if i HAVE to use the offline mod or if I can add mod and use object builder to place these items? not quite sure if offline mode shuts my server down or not.

Im not 100% sure it ever needed to be, 99% of the reports saying it doesnt work have been wrong since posting. I dont mod dayz and havent checked it, but anyone complaining about "pbo error" or "plants.pbo" is just wrong.

dayz expansion licensed core and map assets are not working alone with dayz editor loader you need the full expansion for it all to be compatible lol expansion is fine if used completely alone but really it sux
