you can make a really scuffed top down camera by going high up placing a camera facing down, then using an addon to weld it to your player character. you can also use a addon to make the camera not collide with the world itself if needed.

problems that your movement and aiming will still act like its in first person, since it is scuffed after all.

I'd love to see more open top maps like this. It's a small map but because of the narrow small rooms it makes npc fights very interesting.

You could probably use the simple third person and mess with the camera and make it look top down.
