Pretty much a nerf more than rebalance
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 16 nov. 2021 às 11:13
Yeah, I believe merging the mods is the only workaround to this. Well done!
fentanyllionaire 16 nov. 2021 às 0:51
i edited your file to make gyll's musketeer cc trinket changes then deleted gyll's and it worked
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 15 nov. 2021 às 13:34
Sorry, but it depends on the game's file structure. All CC trinkets are collected inside the same file. If two mods, such as mine and Gyll's, modify the same file, one will invariably take priority over the other. See "known issues"
fentanyllionaire 13 nov. 2021 às 8:44
heeeeeey could you please fix it so that it does not prevent other mods from changing existing cc trinkets? Gyll's Musketeer, more specifically.

The mod now includes the Korean translation. Thank you for your contribution!
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 12 ago. 2019 às 11:32
Wrong link?

This is the Korean translation file in this mod. can you apply this in your mod page?
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 13 abr. 2019 às 14:34
I hope you'll enjoy it!
Alchemist Endrew 13 abr. 2019 às 14:21
This looks great! So many of those CC trinkets were near-useless before.
Raizemberg 25 jan. 2019 às 18:20
Thanks so much.
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 25 jan. 2019 às 18:08
They should, if you edit them correctly. I'll try it myself and I'll let you know.
Raizemberg 25 jan. 2019 às 17:08
Hey, can this be used in conjunction with 'Yet Another Musketeer Rework'.

Both mods use the same file. I've tried to edit it but ended up losing my save file...
NeVeRLiFt 7 jan. 2019 às 22:12
I'm familiar with editing the files.
I just thought it would be nice if the mod was fixed to work together for everyone.
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 7 jan. 2019 às 14:40
You can do it yourself! It shouldn't be too difficult. I can send you instructions when I have the time.
NeVeRLiFt 7 jan. 2019 às 12:37
anyway to merge the two mods?
I think it would be worth it if you and the other mod maker was willing ....
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 7 jan. 2019 às 12:25
Yeah that is because my mod and Better Sets share the same files. Basically they overwrite each other regardless of order. If Red Hook had split the class sets and the other CC trinkets into two different files there wouldn't be any incompatibility
NeVeRLiFt 7 jan. 2019 às 6:54
I took the plunge and tested your mod... and I'm sad to say it does not work with the Better Sets mod.
This is even with the Better Sets mod at the top of the load order.
:stress:
NeVeRLiFt 7 jan. 2019 às 4:59
Hi, thank you for this mod!
I had a quick question.... does your mod work with the Better Sets mod?

UPDATE:
-Mantra of Fasting now grants an additional +10% deathblow resist (if wasting).
-Rat Carcass now grants an additional +12 DODGE (if wasting).
-The mod structure has been simplified in order to be more similar to other mods.
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 3 nov. 2018 às 11:14
UPDATE:
-The mod no longer requires the Color of Madness DLC, although the Damage Reflection animation will be a little glitchy if you don't own and enable the DLC.
-Improved tooltips for many languages.
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 27 out. 2018 às 7:43
SMALL BALANCE UPDATE:
-Pagan Talisman: added +10% Stress DMG
-Viscount's Spices: removed +100% healing received when eating; increased DMG reflection from 30% to 40%

@Manawolf, basically what happens is: both my mod and "Uniform Darkness CC Patch" change the same trinkets, but they do it differently: while UD uses a file with the same name as the original, I use a file with a new name. When the mods are both installed, the former always takes priority. But: I have tried to override UD's files and that leads to the game crashing, probably because, since UD is a more complex mod, I might be overriding something else important.
In conclusion there is no way to make the two mods compatible.
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 26 out. 2018 às 6:24
@Manawolf, I'll send you a friend request so we can try to solve the issues. Changing CC Trinkets is not as straight-forward as it could seem, so there might be unexpected imcompatibilities.
Manawolf 25 out. 2018 às 22:58
Strange, the mod won't work for me. None of my other mods seem to change the CC trinkets outside of the sets, yet this think is at the top of my mod list yet still doesn't show a change.
Smeelio 25 out. 2018 às 17:58
Well, I have been thinking of trying to learn even just a little bit of modding for this game. I love using mods, there are so many great ones out there, and the people who make them keep the game and its community thriving and alive, so I sometimes feel like I should contribute to that too to give back a bit, since Darkest Dungeon is one of my favourite games. Thanks very much for the advice/encouragement!
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 25 out. 2018 às 17:48
No problem. By the way you should definitely learn how to remove the buffs you don't want to show up. It's very simple and you'd get exactly what you desire.
Smeelio 25 out. 2018 às 16:08
Oh, it's just that I've been looking for a mod like this to use on a run without the Crimson Curse, to see how that works out and how fun (or not fun) it is, and I thought you might be aiming for the same kind of thing precisely because, as you say, using these on heroes without the Curse basically already negates Curse-related effects, just with them still written on there, so I wondered if you were planning to take it a step further and just elimate Curse effects entirely in a different version- my bad for mistaking your possible intentions. Regardless, great mod!
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 25 out. 2018 às 3:02
@Smeelio, I don't plan to. But I'm not sure if I'm getting the point of such a mod. Doesn't giving these trinkets to heroes who are not cursed already negate the curse related pros and cons?
Smeelio 24 out. 2018 às 18:34
Nice! I've been looking for something like this for a while. Do you think you'd ever do a version that completely removes any pros or cons tied to having the Crimson Curse?
Eden 22 out. 2018 às 18:37
Thanks, hype for it!
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 22 out. 2018 às 18:15
High risk build? Yeah maybe I'll come up with something. I'll definitely consider dropping the rarity of some of the trinkets. Thank you for the feedback.
Eden 22 out. 2018 às 17:49
In my experience its really easy to avoid wasting and it only really happens when you forget to prepare for it, at which point trinkets are no good either cos you'll have forgotten them too. So from both those items I was hoping for something which could make the potential for a weird & high risk synergy build. If you dont like the sound of that fair enough, tho perhaps consider dropping the rarity level a bit? Either way thanks again for the great mod
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 22 out. 2018 às 17:41
@Gan Edhen, thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, the best way to deal with Wasting is to avoid it at all costs. I cannot make it so a single trinket negates all the disadvantages of a wasting hero (impending death and lowered stats), thus allowing exploiting permanent wasting to save as much blood as possible. In any case, you are supposed to resort to the Rat Carcass and Mantra of Fasting only if you really need to.
Eden 22 out. 2018 às 17:24
Any chance you could buff Mantra of Fasting a bit more? Still can't imagine spending an item slot on it, and this is coming from someone who uses a 4 trinket mod all the time. Wasting is such a punishing status that I would still try just as hard to avoid it even if the HP reduction was negated, but if this gave a nice crit bonus or something it could make things very interesting.

Other than that I love all your changes!
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 22 out. 2018 às 14:07
@dariuszskdr No, IMO Dazzling Mirror and Mercurial Salve are fine the way they are.
DaRiot 22 out. 2018 às 13:05
are you planning to uphgrade mirror too ?
Koblasco 22 out. 2018 às 1:36
Always love me some trinket rebalance mods. Idk why but devs are pretty amateurish when it comes to trinket design.
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 21 out. 2018 às 19:23
@Scientist Wilson, the heal on hit is meant to replicate the effect of the enemy attack "The Thirst". Also please consider that -25% bleed resistance is quite bad, since the new enemy AI is much more punishing in terms of focusing fire on the one with the least resistance. Thank you for the feedback.
Just Hitting My Stride 21 out. 2018 às 18:51
Looks call, but some seem to need some better downsides like:
-Viscount's Spices, needs something more than more food eaten.
-Countess's Fan, Heal on hit should be replaced withsomething else. And maybe -30% bleed resist.

Overall, they seem a lot more worth to get them!
Fanatical Banzai 21 out. 2018 às 12:37
Excellent work.
DaRiot 21 out. 2018 às 11:04
wow thats a good shiet
Ignatius Nebulosus  [autor] 21 out. 2018 às 10:20
You're welcome.
Tryharder 21 out. 2018 às 10:16
Thank you! Now i can finally use some on "trash-reword-boss-trinket".
