I am in mid-game (I would say) and to start a new game, is absolutely not, what I want, to be honest. Especially the fact, that all chunks will dissapear, makes this kind of mods not possible for me.
Thats why I likes YOUR mod. Your mod was also the reason, why I was looking for a similar mod. Placing an object with can hold chunks, not only the function to make chunhs stackable in stockpiles.
I found Reel's Expanded Storage. It has tooo many stuff I dont want, but I just ignore all other. I only need the both chunk storages (small (1x) 8 chunks, big (2x2) 32 chunks).
It works and I am happy.
If you add a mod mid-game, chunks in the map may disappear. In that case, try starting a new game or adding chunks in Dev mode.
Ah..Ok, I'll introduce you to a mod that will solve all the problems you're having. Perhaps, when combined with this mod, all your chunks problems will be solved.
Stackable Chunks [1.5]
Desc :
Makes Stone and Slag chunks stackable. Includes the ability to set a custom stack values through mod options between 1-400.
I was looking for a mod to storage my chunks (I have hundreds around my colony) and I always found only stackable mods, who are deleting all chunks on the map. Your was the first who didnt. But unfortunately, I have nothing won with your mod (no offend). To place ONE chunk in a shelf with ONE slot, is the same, like the chunk would lay on the ground (or ordinary stockpile). Your other shelf with 3 slots means, that there ONLY 3 chunks are placeable. But, when I want to storage hundred of chunks, I would need a horde of your shelfs, you know?
Surely your mod has a great use, but unfortunately, not (really) for chunks.
There are two types of shelves added by this mod:
1. The old style small shelf, which can hold any item, but only has one stack.
2. The regular small shelf is 1x1 size, but can hold 3 stacks of any item.
These are designed to be used with vanilla shelves. The old version with 1 stack is useful for distributing medicines and drugs to the rooms they are needed in, or for storing prisoner clothes. The regular version with 3 stacks is smaller than the 2x1 size shelf, and is suitable for placing sleeping bags for caravans outdoors (It cannot place buildings on it in vanilla).
I hope that by devising ways to use it, you can make it more useful.
Just to find out, that the one shelf only holds ONE chunk and the other shelf 3. Narf!
v1.5.0
- Update tags for Rimworld 1.5.x.
Certainly, old -style shelves are often convenient for stockpiling management. Especially for medical items and artifacts.
I'm glad if this MOD helped you.
> Add oldstyle small shelf. It's the old style that only holds 1 stack.
Sometimes I want a critical shelf somewhere, but don't want it to hold too much.
I'm glad to help you make your game fun. enjoy!
For example, when put herbal medicine in a prison cell, if all herbs in the colony is put on the shelf, workbench bills need herbs will stop working, so it's necessary to have no stacks.
And since this mod is simply made with just xml and small shelf images, this will not conflict with other mods and will not affect performance.
In any case, have fun with a small shelf that you can use casually.
v1.4.2
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3555.
- The small shelf and old shelf build buttons are now displayed when selecting various shelfs.
- Added small shelf building buttons to various production benches in Core.
This small shelf has been perfected for a long time, so don't need to change this for a long time. I hope that you will continue to use it. Thank you.
I feeled that the small shelves added to vanilla in 1.4 are probably more difficult to manage due to 3 stacks.
In many cases, the concentration of resources in one shelf or stockpile zone was expected to require unnecessary movement if other works needed the material.
So I added the old shelf because I thought there was a demand for the same small shelf with only one stack as before.
I would be happy if it met your needs. Thank you.
- Can't select materials, so I'm going back to v1.4.1.
v1.4.2
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3515 (unstable).
As WIP, changed for selection menu that opens by clicking the small shelf(vanilla) in the Architect "funiture" menu. This concept is to make a menu smaller.
v1.4.1
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3514 (unstable).
- Add oldstyle small shelf. It's the old style that only holds 1 stack.
- Add Ideology Techist style.
v1.4.0
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3507 (unstable).
1.4 vanilla add a "small shelf".
The differences between vanilla and this mod are as follows.
- Nothing is selected by default.
- This mod shelf allows rock chunks and building categories items.
- Priority is Important (Vanilla : Preferred).
Hello nenemarista9700. Thank you!
I think you can understand why this little Shelf is smaller than the Vanilla Shelf by placing it on the left and right of the chair on the workbench.
If you make it the same size as the vanilla shelf, the 1x1 shelf will stick out when you place the item.
This is current from my unsuccessful experience when I adjusted it to the same size as the Vanilla Shelf in the past.
- Fixed preview img.
v1.3.0
- Update for 1.3 Preview beta
Hello Sargos. indeed.
However, since there are multiple versions before 1.0, they are attached so that they can be distinguished. (Ex:B19 ver)
Hello Luneyl.
It is suitable for various worktables, reserve arms for defense positions, and storage areas for mortar shells. It is also ideal for making compact colonies. I hope your colony will be more organized.
- Update for 1.2 Unstable build
RimWorld 1.1.2587 rev830
- change Manifest.xml
v1.1.3
- The icon size of the Architect menu has been adjusted.
Thank you. Have a fun!
v1.1.2
Hotfix:
- Fixed an issue where items stored on small shelf were not being counted as materials on the workbench.
Change:
- The small shelf size of 1.1 has been changed to the same display size as 1.0.
- Added the same beauty as shelf to small shelf.
Yes. I want to continue adjusting the size. Now there is another job (1.1 update) so the priority is low.
@pellaken
This mod feature is that it is light with a single Mod and all items to be carried can be set by yourself (the colonists do not put weapons on their own). Havea fun!
@Aintence - there is another mod available which does this called Satisfied Storage - I'm not using it atm because there was a bug where it caused pawns to stand still when refilling hoppers on nutrient paste dispensers, but it sounds like that's been resolved now - otherwise it does exactly what you want.
Hello. In 1.0, there was a mod that individually controls the maximum number of items that can be stocked.
but There are no plans to add those features in this mod.
Adjustments may still be needed. Because it changed a little when adjusted for 1.1.
@Koldborg
I hope you enjoy RimWorld!
v1.1.1
- Fixed small shelves to be smaller.
