The start of the map looks excelent, but when I was palying some friends died at first wave and when they respawned, they were stuck at the beggining, because the elevator was already up they couldn't do anything :,C.

I would have liked the night cycle to be much darker ^^

The Lighting feels very unnatural and some objects looks like replaced with gamma 5k, extrem bloom for my eyes. Too bad i would really love to play this map on daylight but not like this :(

Unsure if this has been reported yet, but there's a major glaring issue where if someone dies or joins after the first wave, they're stuck in the elevator shaft for the rest of the game (because it already went up & doesn't spawn players on the surface).

Well then, played the latest version.
The performance is about 85 % identical to official map. What it means? If official Burning Paris runs at a very high 130-160 FPS, this one runs at a quite steady 110-140 FPS (yes, that includes during illumination changing phases)! :)

Older versions of this map were quite bad, but now the map is EPIC! :steamhappy:

The only real cons about it would be missing stand your memes objectives (plis add them :) ) and also, official Burning Paris map has these semi-destructible concrete pillars in underground subway. You know, these ones:

In OG, you can shoot off or blow away pieces from it, which was a cool little feature that I liked. Would be great if it could come back :)

But yeah, only missing SYG and semi-destructible pillars in the underground are the only cons.

Is the day / night cycle not working in the beta?

Have been playing Endless for about 10 rounds and it was contantly daytime.

I understand Tonny. I would suggest to decrease speed of lighting transitions.
The only two maps that have good performance with dynamic TOD would be KF-BlackForest (official map that runs at triple digit FPS, but created by Tripwire), and another would be KF-Asgard, which stays in 75-110 range. Both of them don't have rapid lighting changes, but those changes are slow and subtle.

But at the end of the day, dynamic TOD cycle is a resource hog by nature - so there's no surprise that framerate is that bad, especially on something like Burning Paris. I'll keep an eye on upcoming updates.

What specs are required for this map to run smoothly? Just tried out a few moments ago, frames drop down to 40 on my 1060 3gb, and that's in solo mode.

If you read read that if I put the map was created by TW, you can see it on the upper left in the specifications of the game and the map, nothing. :)

The map is too laggy and unoptimized. I get to play it like at 30 FPS. And what is it with so many freebie pickups? a p90 and SCAR right at the beginning and in front of the entrance?

What would be the first target of priority, IMO? Daylight edition of KF-Farmhouse, we all know how dark it is. But KF-Farmhouse-Day should come later, because most important thing RN would be fixing this workshop entry. :)

Needs optimzation for FPS. 40-57fps is unplayable with zeds + effects.

It´s simple and brutal but just don´t use Skylight, when you use skylight the game will panic and goes from whatever fps to 60 and lower.
