DId this mod got updated? I haven't played in a while and some sounds feel different than I remembered, especifially the Mossberg and Winchester Super X3. I haven't downloaded any other mods for these guns since I left so I was wondering if some sound changes had been made to this mod

Awesome... However the 1911 sounds like a 40 MM Cannon, a bit too exagerated.. The only one I don't like.. The rest are neat :)

Horrible sound samples. You clearly can hear ♥♥♥♥♥♥ colt sound from the beginning. Installing this mod is an isult towards this game!

hmm have a trouble if im using m16 with scope,i have SCAR-H mod for it,dont use any scripts or sounds for it and i have only sounds of SHOOTING no reload or check ammo sounds,any help?

You could probably find the workshop files in the game directory and just delete the new sound files. Or you can use my old MediaFire download link in the description of the preview video and install it manually, and delete the sounds.

Love the mod! Always felt like most gunsound in Nmrih weere kinda lame. Thanks for the mod! However I am not satisfied with all of them. I am particularly talking about the CZ858, and Glock 17. I personally prefer the vanilla sound there. Is there a way to manually disable some sounds?

There is a hell of a lot of reverb baked into the sound files. Weapon sounds should be fairly dry and allow the Source Engine to apply the reverb as needed. That way, the reverb/damping effect settings specified by mappers are respected, and when you are shooting in a bathroom it doesn't sound like you just fired a bullet into the grand canyon.

It's by a guy named Kobrax. He's made addons like it for L4D2 and Insurgency. Hopefully with the update out, he'll upload it on here.
Alternatively, you can look it up on youtube. There's links in the description.
