I prefer TFA's method for aiming and firing system. Attachments would be nice, but I personally am just looking for a TFA SMG that can fire grenades, so this mod is a godsend.

I'm just gonna say it, if you make a TFA weapon with no attachments, It's better to not use TFA base at all. I mean that, or just stop making Weapons at all

I slightly noticed the Bobbing Animation for the .357 RELOAD, What is that bobbing called? Or is it just part of the mod?

I may sometime in the future do a re-write of this. I'll probably use parts of https://youtu.be/KOJVjm_29ps Maybe an option for alternate weapon animations in a menu or something.

Ah ok, that's understandable, I just really enjoy using this with simple weapon reskins. xd
It'll be a long while before I myself do anything related to creating addons myself, but I'd like to see a "perfected" version of this and possibly additions in the far future. Whatever you choose to do with this though whether it's pick it up later or leave it alone, I support it.

I never really considered damage multiplier for my custom code. This was really just a summer project to learn lua that got used to initially make this mod https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1610107011
I don't know, I may extract the source and add the variable if I feel like it. It's just a bit of a hassle for me to get it all set up to edit and upload again. It could also not be as straight forward as I thought, given how weird TFA base can be when you don't play by their rules.

Hi Contraria, don't mean to bother about this addon again, but I noticed something recently while using these.

I wanted to change the damages with either a weapon editing addon or just the built in TFA damage multiplier, but I noticed that not all of them are affected/can be changed, and they are: The Shotgun, crossbow, the Annabelle, Airboat gun, and the other AR.
Normally in the console you can change the damage of default weapons except the crossbow and Grigori's weapon, etc., but I was wondering if you could maybe take a look at the normal shotgun at least if you ever have the time?
I understand you're busy and not maintaining this pack anymore, so it's ok if you can't, just thought I'd ask

Try changing the toggle ironsights option in TFA settings. That was the fix for my other mod after the TFA base update.

There is no custom skin. It's just a higher viewmodel fov.

You are a legend man. Also could you remove that custom AR2 skin please? I don't use custom reskins anymore but I wouldn't be too surprised if people were using them (such as the custom coloured skins to match the physgun colour) while using your SWEPs as well meaning the skin conflicts with their's.

Also, please try and sort out the extra weapons and I'll give you a cookie somehow since they're still broken. Thanks again, you are a life saver!

Also reinstalled TFA Base (deleted, redownloaded even unsubbed and subbed again) and same with the this addon and the extras. I've also found you a lua error to solve when you're hopefully alive again.

Before, I had the laser in your view, but it would clip in and out of view, so I decided it would be best to just put it out of the way. I could place a faux laser into the scope texture. The Combine Ball was intentionally left unchanged. If your explosives can hurt you, why not your ba.. pellets.

There were a few things that I had wanted to point out and ask before anyone else notices the same things, but since school has started again I wouldn't concern over it too much
3 Things: 1. There's a bug where the crossbow keeps making the reload sound when you're out of ammo (I don't care much about this)
2. I had an ERROR for my sniper before the update but you fixed it lol However, when using the scope, the laser will move to the right, away from the crosshair (I don't mind this too much either, still works great)
3. Just a small gripe, while using the AR2 ball, it can instantly kill YOU, even with much health and armor XD

Nah, opening it up isn't an issue, I just noticed that after the error spam if you look into your menu afterwards you'll see that all the buttons or tabs change appearance, still fuctional until crashing from holding a weapon for too long

I've been looking for a version of TFA HL2 weapons just like this for so long and i'm very happy to have come across these, however, i've run into a problem while using a certain HUD: [Sword Art Online II: GGO HUD] lua/autorun/ggohud.lua:742: bad argument #1 to 'SetTexture' (number expected, got userdata)
1. SetTexture - [C]:-1
2. DrawWeaponSlot1 - lua/autorun/ggohud.lua:742
3. v - lua/autorun/ggohud.lua:1708
4. unknown - lua/includes/modules/hook.lua:84

It only happens when spawning any of these weapons or your non-vanilla ones (ironically NOT the "joke" weapon though lol), making the spawn menu look odd and crashing the game if you have a weapon equipped for too long. Could this be fixed possibly? Regardless, great Swep pack and ty

For the old crossbow bug? Or is it a new one? I ended up patching the crossbow bug with a hook that changes the damage of each crossbow bolt to the proper amount.

I managed to find a way to fix the damage calculation bug. just set TFA damage multiplier min and max to 1. Sv_tfa_damage_mult
