No. It needs the old ace medical. if you have ace no medical loaded, then you simply do not have any ace medical at all

Not possible in arma. Even without these animations, the engine will force an animation after ragdolling what so ever.

So either have the same animation over and over or a few varied ones,

jonjonhoops17, this mod has been deprecated for years. Arma ragdolls being terrible is a base game feature though, this mod never changed the physics

That is fine, this mod is obsolete for several years as the ace medical rewrite is now the normal ace medical.

This does not work with current medical ace the rewrite also uses the command "setUnconscious". There is already a rework going on whihc will be added to ace directly in the future.

Just a heads up ACE 3.13.0 just released. This version is not compatible with this addon and most likely will never be.

When he gets in a vehicle, it looks to him like he is proning, and his camera is very shaky, in all vehicles. Only happens when this mod is loaded. We're still trying to figure it out.

Possible to give an example what you mean with "messing with someone animations in vehicles"? This mod should not affect you if you get knocked out while in a vehicle.

Server and Clients, we are running advanced ace medical. It started working. But now it messes with my friends animations in vehicles. We think it might be an outdated CBA or something looking into it now. You've got any idea?

Are you also running ace medical? Which settings have you enabled? Is it running only on server or also on clients?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. It's basically just cba, ace and this mod. But, thanks anyway. As I said it's pretty rare. I didn't even know you could toggle unconsciousness in ace... :-D When it happended, I basically just gunned down my friend again, brought him back and it was fixed... I feel stupid now.

Tbh never had the issue of your camera being stuck. you sure you are not running another mod/script that might interfere, such as the apex revive? You can always try toggling unconsciousness on that person again.

For config, right now there are only 3 settings. Sadly enabling the mod means enabling for Players. So right now there is no way without modifying the code to do AI only.

Hi there,

This is an awesome mod, my friends and I use it for playing scenarios against AI as a group and love it, wouldn't want to go without it (for obvious reasons). However, every once in a while, one of us gets stuck with the camera outside the body after being unconscious and being revived/waking up (ace medical, obvously). So far we have found no way to fix this state. It seems to happen mostly when you go down next to a rock or some other geometry. Is there a way to switch this mod to only extend to the AI, not the players?

I have some basic Arma3 modding skills, so if it is just some config switch, I could do it myself, with your permission.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

it can be rewritten to not use ace medical, but i do not see this working well in completely vanilla medical system.

You can disable remove unit out of group when unconcious in the ACE settings. This will prevent you from being removed from the unit (which makes the AI take command) so the AI won't steal your place. Didn't try it but might work.

that is vanilla behavior as the ragdoll is initiated by a vanilla command. No way to prevent that

Not sure, but sounds like that ace fork does not have ace medical included.
