all I can say is:

everything is pitch black that what makes it creepy

You know what this map even without the gamemode is genuinely terrifying, play creepy ambient music using a addon like timely music and make your own folder for example like I did and make a survival horror playlist with your favourite scary videogame soundtracks. Then also incorporate minecraft cave sound along with dynamic sound reverb make sure to check off the process every sound option and crank all the settings to max in general and type in dsp_room 1 and dsp_enhanced stereo 1 but set your speakers to 7.1 in gmod options. Best audio ever for everything including gun shots or anything really. Scary experience on this map espcially since the pages and some sound effects linger on this map without the gamemode but even in sandbox... one of the scariest maps I've played with no threat present to the player. Well done!

You gotta get a slender npc from the workshop (best I can offer is either slender fortress or the tall man drg snpc) or play the stop it slender gamemode, if you want an authentic slender experience

Im trying to fix a bug that creates a "Label" box in the top left of the screen I highly doubt a map would affect that but I know the Aliens Sevastpol map is notorious now for creating a "sandbox" bug in chat while in game so I am just double checking around.
