However: if that doesn't work, just place it above the other mods (Downscaled and Asari) so it loads first.
You can do this by right-clicking on the game in your library, select properties, click the "local files" tab and then the verify button.
I tried that before but it didnt work it seemed i had multiple problems:
one the order of loading
two, i am using paradox copy atm, not steam, and paradox mods are lackluster so i use steam downloader to get the mods here and manually edit, descriptor.mod files pathing to my current mod folder, not sure what was wrong but i simply changed path="c/users/msi/paradox interactive/stellaris/mods/asari ships downscale.zip" to archive="c/users/msi/paradox interactive/stellaris/mods/asari ships downscale.zip" as with many other mod descriptor files. also copy pasted the name instead of manually writing the zip file. Sometimes with coding, even tho what you wrote and what the name is exactly the same, sometimes modding tools dont recognize the path, so i copy pasted the name instead of writing.
this is an exteremly localised issue for me so others coming to this comment section should post their own bug reports.

Now people will only have to use 2 mods (my main mod + asari main mod). I mentioned your name in my description and hope you won't force me to take back my built-in compatibility. :)
Alrighty then, time to get to work!
I salute you.
Giving it a try, i was really hoping for this.
