This is one of my favorite workshop buildings to use. So many of the buildings from this era are just amazing! It's a shame we stopped building skyscrapers like this. The chimney and glass box styles are so boring.

Easily one of the best assets on the workshop.

From the 3d model, to the texture maps and even the LOD are all impeccable

Don't know about sky texture, I believe it's default one. Here's the list of visual mods I use:
RichColorClarity LUT - by Isaiah53six,

Oh, and the sky in those photos...how'd you get that look? Theme or you add them just for the photos. I wish my game clouds looked that good.

I have too much going on lately. I made some research and did some experiments with CS engine, but have no time to create new assets. Now I got some free time and I decided to made an update for this building. What's new in this version:
1. Fixed aliasing due to illumination map, also illumination map works much better now
2. Deleted some overlaped faces and corrected some misaligned vertices (Overall tris count got reduced from 12,716 to 12,448. Nice, clean geometry)
3. Improved textures. Previous version was somewhat blank and really lack contrast, but now it is much better, mainly due to new windows color.
4. Added highlights on the side facades, it really adds depth to the building and making the form more interesting.

By the way, I will upload a new asset i made (Park Entrance) on Monday - max Tuesday. I made a main model, only the LOD left, but It wouldn't take much time.

I love this model so much! The only thing is that it is too tall. This model has the same height as 40 Wall Street.

Rich detailing, especially on the upper levels. Nicely done!

A nice chance to see this building in isolation, not surrounded by its real-life lower Manhattan neighbors. It's impressive enough in its real-life context, but more so when it can be seen from afar at all angles.

Was still waiting on AJ3D to release his version, but this seems to be a great model. This building was still on my to do list, but I'm glad we got a great version! Well done and looking forward seeing more models in the future.

The building was one of the first in the world fitted with electricity. The lights were first switched on remotely by the President of the USA from the White House in Washington DC. The building doubled as the magazine HQ that Betty Suarez worked for in the US TV series Ugly Betty
