I read all replies, so there you have it @Aelanius, a kind correction of your thinking.
I found the problem! For your people playing custom garbage buildings, including the recycling center, on Snow maps, the issue happens when the terrain is not 100% flat. On non-snow maps it works regardless of terrain.

@Exsosus first, I don't know why Steam disabled the ability to reply to people so I doubt you will ever read this... second, I think it has to do with road connections.

Update: I just noted this is happeningwith another garbage building. Could be that the slope is too steep...

I really like this building, but trucks don't come out. It is powered and watered. Can the community here please help me with placement tips? Thanks.

this is an amazing low footprint asset that looks better than a nasty stinking open air dump, kudos for creating it. also - works with no issues in Sunset Harbor

This is one item that makes sense. But I could accept if it actually had some limited noise, then it would be a lot more realistic. Many recycling centers are actually pretty clean, but produces some noise.

Seems like the perfect solution to waste collection in residential areas. Always had a problem with citizens getting sick because a dump was in the neighborhood. Thanks for sharing this in the workshop.
