The ID for the items are "stolte_commoncrossbow", "stolte_uncommoncrossbow" and "stolte_rarecrossbow".
My first few weapon mods were really just tests to see if I could make new guns, so they're generally pretty similar to already existing guns and not very polished. If you want to add some new weapons while still keeping the vanilla Starbound feel, I recommend subscribing to my pulse rifles, longswords, shields, and crossbow mods along with my Starbound Weapon Overhaul. Most of the mods I created before those are rather superfluous.
Should be. The mod is pretty self-contained, so unless Chucklefish completely overhauled treasure lists or something it'll probably still work!

Every other crossbow follows the same pattern. Just replace common with either another rarity or its material type (i.e. ironcrossbow, aegisaltcrossbow, rarecrossbow)
Yes, they spawn elemental varieties.

I'm glad to hear it!
Thank you! Sorry that the mod is causing you troubles. Good luck with it, though, and update me if you find anything!
Strange. I've been playtesting my mods and found several crossbows in the world, both in loot and through merchants. It could be that there's a conflict with another mod you may be using, but I don't understand how that could be the case, as the weapons are implemented through a patch. Can you look through your starbound.log and check for any errors? If a patch file can't properly patch something, it will usually give a warning in the log.
It's okay! Let me know if you find any.
There's no reason you shouldn't be able to find more of them. Randomgen weapons can be finicky and difficult to find sometimes, it could depend on how many other randomgen weapon mods you've got, as increasing the variety of weapons will make it more difficult to find what you're looking for. I'd say just keep taking a look around on new planets and one should turn up eventually.
You're a lifesaver. I don't use either Frackin or Manufacturer's Touch, so I wasn't really sure where to begin with patching my mods for them. I'll be sure to send people your way if they need the compatibility!
Much appreciated!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the mod.
