Still hoping for an Araucaria araucana version, the species found in Chile and Argentina

you do wonderful work. This tree is very pretty. I would have added a few more branches to fill it out more. But I do love the tree.

I am very interested in preserving surviving jurassic and cretaceous spcecies of vegetation. Would love to see you make the Araucarias found in Brazil and Argentina. In Brazil is the Biological Preserve of The Araucarias. Another tree that is very fascinating along those lines is the Baobab.

Look up also the avenue of the baobabs in Madagascar!

I endorse it: "Could you do the south american version of this beautiful type of pine?

Had to come thanking you for these trees. They are magnificent. Makes great center pieces in roundabouts too.

Works good as a southern US pine, e.g. Pinus elliottii.

Yes, Araucaria angustifolia or the Brazilian Pine is closely related to the Bunya Pine. They look very similar as well. It'd be awesome to have Araucaria angustifolia in the game too.

Yeah I think it is in the same family as the ones we have in South Brazil, as your link says Araucaria, which is how we call them here. Thanks mate, have a g'day!

@nathanfullside- I didn't know that. Interesting :)

Something like them could be found in Brazil as well! We call them Araucaria trees here.

Arnold J- I really tried but due to the structure of the tree it is very hard to fake the foliage as each cluster of leaves are at the end of a branch and to get the tree to look realistic, I had to make many branches. In fact I still think it should look fuller comparing it to real life. I will explore some new ideas to make a lower poly one in the future if i can.

Looks absolutely amazing, GREAT WORK!!... Anyway wanted ask if there gonna be some low poly version. 4k seems deadly to me :X

Very fine work indeed! :chirp:
Newsflash, Distanced. There's an entire world outside of Australia... about 99.999999% of whom have never seen nor heard of a Bunya Pine. (hint: that makes it exotic for most of humanity). Now stop being so American. :steammocking:

Beauty! Thank you
Strechnitz 20 febr. 2018 la 13:05
