Flop in half?🤔

I don't know. Arachne anatomy might be confusing without a more direct examination, but my crewmates seem to be standing, walking, and jumping just fine.

Still, this is a good mod for anyone who prefers an appearance that's less human and more monstrous, like the Merr-kin sprite mods.

do it like the cat race lets just say they have telepathy, but the armor thing i understand will look messed up. sorry

@HoudiniTheSnek: That'd be impossible to do without messing up all of the armors, and wouldn't really work within Starbound's system. For example, what about weapons? I mean, sure I could make them hold items in their pedipalps, but that'd look weird, and wouldn't function all that well either probably. It'd be doable, but a pain in the butt, and I have other projects to work on.

wtf william? anyways could you do another reskin of the arachne so that it looks like a full spider without the human upper half, like just with a spider head, and then just make the female bigger than the male version like in real life

I always thought that their exoskeleton went inwards at their waist, building into a human skeleton from that point onwards.

Neat! But you may want to tune up the shading, the human half still looks somewhat "non-chitinous" when you compare it with the spider half.

@Xel: well, if they don't have a skeleton around their waist, then they're not going to be very good at staying upright.
@Total Takeover: Thanks for the heads-up. I'll try and fix that in a little bit.

Dont forget to patch the Emotes File!! The blinking appears to be the same color as the eyes, while they should be the same color as the exoskeleton.
