would this thing be able to hover in the air roughly 1km off the surface or are the dampeners not powerful enough

Just found this ship. An amazing thing but I have a problem with its broadside not firing all of the launchers. Seems like something's preventing from turning them on, as they flip off instantly. I also cannot turn off the one that is turned on... Anyone got any idea how to perhaps fix it?

seemingly (((ben))) strikes again

Hey, I've noticed that this vessel (and quite a few others) has a problem with the SRWS - some turrets don't get repaired by the welders underneath them. There's a relatively easy fix though, which is to (for the Orion at least) move the welders back one so that their 'tip' is next to the middle of the turret. On the Orion, it's Gatling Turrets 15-20 and all the Missile Turrets (1-8).

Maybe you pressed "p" during the procedure... This results in all connectors disconnecting.

Started a survival game with an Orion Cruiser and an Eos attached to the connectors in the hanger. Took off towards the moon from mid space and all of a sudden the ship starts listing. I enter the hanger and all 3 Eos crafts that I'd attached in the hanger either disconnected or managed to break loose and were destroying the ship from the hanger outwards. Is this normal?

I had a speed mod on which may have not helped. Was travelling at 120m/s

There aren't many ships I've seen with bombardment capabilities. In fact, ACI ships are the only ones I've seen that can bombard planets.

i love that ships, they are prete equal as the ones i build, but those ones are more complex and beautiful haha, most of my ships turns to a Imperial star destroyer design or just my projects never ends

@BasicallyNuclear - ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.com You go into the control panel by pressing 'K' and then search for 'Program - FloorPlan'. You would have to turn on that block in order to get the script to update every few seconds. Be warned however, it might decrease overall performance of the game.

Of course mine have shields, mexex weapons, and tiered thrusters(I can never design thruster setups like you). I am still tweaking them but once done ill upload with a shoutout to your workshop.

@Dovahkiin Sol is actually the Latin name for sun, so my boy medlock was correct, the ship can’t land on the sun lol.

The station would then focus on the bridge and medical rooms. I found it best to send other ships in as well, to help with the firepower, and honestly to distract the station from the ship. If somehow you haven't won in ten minutes the ship was lost. It doest however, perform against other ships extremely well. I accidently slammed into a redship my friend has spawned in and ripped it in half. XD Other than the above issue, this thing is awesome. Keep it up. I love the detail and the well thought out design and idea of the ship. It is now a flagship in my ever growing fleet.

OK. To start off. This ship is amazing. I love it. It's exactly what I wanted from a heavy cruiser. My only issue I have is when this thing goes up against a space pirate's space staton alone. (The one that spawns normally in the game without mods) I found that for some reason the station would first target the welders, then the turrets themselves. Depending on how long the encouter lasted, if it was a minute, then your ship would win, but if it was a drawn out encouter, your ship would quickly be defensless.

@Dovahkiin Land on Sol? The sun? Yeah that won't work. The ship is capable of flying in a moons gravity field. Nothing much bigger.

I love the ship, and will be using it in my SE Series on Youtube, however.. It isn't 'land' worthy, like I am trying (right now tbh) to have it land on Sol... Buuuttt ya... No good.

P.S: The Bombardment System can be activated by a timer block. You can find that block in the second hotbar tab of one of the flight seats on the Bridge/CIC.

I know that comments on ships arn't supposed to be very long. So I'm just going to put down some of my favorite parts of this ship.


This ship reminds me of Fractured Space for some reason. I don't know why, I think it is the detail. Which made me cry tears of joy every time I see something so complex on this ship



The arms on this ship is impressive. I have over 100 steam workshop ships, and this actually got me excited, including the bombardment system, I'm still trying to figure out how to do that.




There is one bad thing though. I have a gaming computer, and I tend to have my graphics low when I see this ship. The detail and the system put into this thing feels like I'm being bombed by lag spikes. But other than that, it's pretty impressive.




I would love to see you keep building these magnificent ships that are this complex. It made me cry and applaud on how fast I destroyed a base of my friend.
