It seams it dose not work for me to. Upon entering a battle map while under a siege of settlement lvl4 i get a map that is black plains with no other future...
Any advice?

when I play the faction of Prince Tyrion ig got level 4 minor settlement, but if I play Imrik it only goes to level 3, sad I dont have walls on my Imrik factions

it doesnt make tier 3 walls (tier 4 settlement) ..not using any other major makeover mods

See how "def" has both a _minor_4 and _outpostnorsca_minor_4 set? Any chaos wastes town is an _outpostnorsca in the base game files, which has no wall map assigned. Applying the has_walls tag to any _outpostnorsca town will load the broken map you saw.

This submod removed those _norsca settlements early on to fix this, which is why you don't have walls there even with this mod active. I bet SFO alters the settlements / startpos locations so they don't have to deal with the mostly dumb _outpostnorsca stuff but which means when combined with this submod you're now loading the _minor_4 data which still has no walled battle map assigned.

tl;dr this submod and SFO are not compatible without a fix; I don't play this game much anymore or use SFO when I do and this is a problem specific to anyone using this submod and SFO together. Anyone else is free to do whatever with my data to fix it if they can.

It was the northern cities (eg Palace of Ruin) held by the Dark Elves who HAD built walls (me), who were besieged by the Chaos invasion

chaos settlements dont have walled battle maps assigned normally which is why they have no wall options at all in the base game; I had to exclude the factional _norsca outpost settlements from this originally because of it and im not interested in changing startpos or anything like that with this mod. SFO may adjust those settlement chains for tiers 1-3 but not for 4 which could cause this; you'll need a SFO submod most likely to fix it and I don't know if it exists for this walls mod. I dont make any submods for this or the main mod, but others are free to do so.

Hi, I thought I'd share that I seem to have encountered a pretty major bug - playing SFO for possible conflicts.
When besieged by Chaos as DElves on the northern cities, tier-4 minor settlements with walls, the battle maps go completely haywire.
Not only does the battle not recognise it's a siege battle, the map doesn't actually have any terrain - just a black-and-white 'floor' with nothing loaded on it that is entirely uneven. The battle map literally does not load.
I'm not sure if this is *just* chaos or *just* these northern cities (Palace of Ruin, etc), but this mod is the conflict that's causing that issue.

I don't make that other mod but so long as they don't change the minor settlements naming system in the gamedata tables it should work.

I'm in the same boat as @Figaround.

As you cannot use Tier 4 Minor Settlements 2 in SFO because it will throw the SFO garrison scripts out of whack, my question is can I use the SFO standalone version with this Tier 4 Minors 2 - Walls? Thank you!

yeah, and deciding between upgrading to t4 for walls vs taking the prov. cap. to t4/t5 makes some interesting gameplay decisions. Thanks!

no, i'd have to modify those buildings as well and I'd rather not do that since they are vanilla chains, those levels are not additive, they are a specific entry in the table. That being said you will get the extra garrison units from the garrison chain on top of the t4 garrisons.

its up to date, there's nothing to actually change in most patches so the file doesn't see any "updates" but it works fine. Look at updated date below mod photo above

Would you consider adding tier 4 defence buildings to go with the tier 4 settlements? I do get that it could easily be OP, just can't do it myself is all.
OldSkoolMatt might be adding them at some point on his SFO submod.

It works fine, I didn't even have to change anything for the last update.

Make sure to delete any file that remains in your game/data directory, all mods are in the /workshop part of the steam folder with the new launcher, old files in the /data directory will crash the game. This is the first note in the description of the main mod.
