Hmm that's weird, because all my other animals are laying fertilised eggs just fine. I'll see if I can find what's causing it. My stegothrumbos are the only animals I used age drugs on, maybe that could cause an issue (age not matching real age)?

That's other mod messing things up, they are literally just eggs

I'm having the same problem that someone reported on 17th of February 2019. I was patiently awaiting my fist fertilised stegothrumbo egg. The stegothrumbo said it was fertilised, but when the time came to lay the egg, it turned out to be unfertilised.

File might show up like Mod_1113137502_GeneticRim_Mod.xml (using the mod's id)

For anyone getting the red settings error, this is a harmless error, caused by the game not updating the settings file after a change in the code. Can be easily fixed by going to:

C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config

And deleting Mod_GeneticRim_GeneticRim_Mod.xml

It's because Dinosauria works fine. Being a mod without code, it only needs a change to about.xml saying supported versions: 1.2

Scaly bear pelt rug requires specific research when none of the other genetic rim rugs take any research to toss on the floor. Can be annoying when you get them as quest rewards and then can't do anything but sell them.

@tink101709 Make sure that Genetic Rim Dinosauria Patch is loaded after (below) the Core Genetic Rim. Had the same issue and noticed that "auto-sort mods" did not arrange several mods like I had hoped. The issue was fixed for me afterward.

having some issues here. I've loaded and selected Extract Dino DNA and i watch pawns take the dinosaur to the extraction table and its glitched in place. the bar keeps filling and it just starts over with no genetics. Side note for some reason the CORE Genetic Rim wont let me break down some of the "non decript" dna. It lets me break down Rotting and human skeletons but not llamas(among others)? Im sure there something that s not translating properly

The only flaw in this mod is there's no way to get an alpha animals Raptor Shrimp / T-rex hybrid.

So yes, it appears that the mod is working fine in 1.1 without the need of an update. So go ahead, activate and disregard the warning.

There are some things I wanted to clean up, though, and this gave me the reason to.

On the topic of mecha-dino's, I mentioned that a while ago along with the feline hybrid missing too. Same with megafuna and I haven't used it in a while but I think alpha animals patch is missing both as well. Still think a lion/t-rex that's a beast in combat or mecha-brachiosaurus that's a literal tank are interesting ideas. On the megafauna side im not sure, mecha-palaeeudyptes orgGigantopithecus and cat/dinocrocuta or enhydriodon? Shoot, cat terror bird is also a viable option.

Doing a rodent and cat only run so missing the cat option on those is kind of.. weird. Then there's the lack of dinosaur, megafauna, and alpha animals bees for the rimbees patch from what ive seen

So using Faction Blender i ended up fighting a hostile spinobear. Afterward, I noticed that, unlike all the other genetic rim furniture, the spino rug requires genetic research to throw on the floor. Not sure whether or not this is intentional.
