For anyone with this still in their load order and wanting something for 1.5. There is a new version of this mod called "Giddy Up 2" by Owlchemist.

Also the "Flagged as Trojan" issue seems to have been a false positive.

can confirm - Using Giddy-Up 2 or Giddy-Up Core turns enemy pawns into unkillable meat sacks that endlessly pursue you.

Whenever I install this mod along with Vanilla Expanded, no pawns (animal or otherwise) will die. They turn into bloody potato torsos and will not die.

I had a friendly caravan who's leader was riding a helixien slug (Alpha Animals) and when they decided to leave the entire caravan slowly went berserk waiting for the leader to make it to the edge of the map. Big win for the colony :steamhappy:

for those have problemif installed/removed mid game or want to upgrade to Giddy Up 2
use this mod to help with problems dont know how much it's effective so have a backup save

Anyone coming here for this mod, it has been remade and re-packaged with three of the four additional packs integrated (New modmaker says the Mechanoids pack is going to require rebuilding from the ground up for integration with Biology's Mechanoids)

how do I stop my colonists from riding an animal??? My colonists keep going into my animal pen and keep on taking the animals from it.

Don`t install this mod. Pawns randomly mounts animals just to come back to the pen and dismount them. But this is not the worst thing. After removing this bugged mod it corrupts you saved game and you can only see the black screen with hundreds of error messages in debug mode.

I had a problem with assembling a caravan and decided to switch off this mod. After the reload my map became completely black :(

First problem:
I seem to be getting really absurd pathing decisions with mounting these days. Instead of just walking ten paces, I go fifty paces to instead get on a mount to come back the same fifty paces and end up where I already could have been an hour ago. Is there some setting that I can use to stop this sort of stupid stuff from happening? Or is there some plan to have a 'total path length' calculation in there to stop this permanently?
Second problem:
When I am on the mount and drafted, and then I travel outside the Mount's restricted area, then sometimes (only sometimes, not at all always) kicks me off the mount as I cross the boundary between an allowed area for that mount and an unallowed area. Again, is there a setting to tell the game that when I am drafted and on the mount that it should just 'stay on' the mount and not have this stupid stuff happenning?
