Black Fire and others. Finally got there, the Rattified version of A New Hope is now released and available here http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1312973584 . Not sure if I would say perfect (nothing ever is), but I think its as good as I can get. Enjoy.

@rattusprat: I checked out your version of "a new hope"...... ABSOLUTLY GREAT WORK !!!!!!! You REALLY did a great improvement on the map. In my screenshots you can see a lot of pictures with feedback. I was VERRY critical ! so you have the chance to make your version of the map even more perfect - but I know some of these chances are quite some work to do - and maybe not worth the effort.
Maybe there could also be done some more improvement on the detailling (trees etc.) but there a better modders than me to evaluate this.
again... I REALLY LIKE YOUR WORK !! and the next time I will play this map I will definetly use your version of the map ! :-) I am looking forward to the final result !

Black Fire, it took a bit more play testing than expected to get everything working, hampered by some game crashes, but the "Rattified" version of A New Hope is ready for you to have a look at.

Hi rattusprat, first of all... thanks for asking :-). I also thought about updating my map after the feedback of BonBonB... but I never found the time to get started ;-). So I am happy that you did it ;-). If you want I can have a look at your version of the map, and maybe give you some ideas for an update also. But I don't expect you to follow my ideas! You can share the map with me before making it public by adding me to your friends on steam, and switching the "visibility" of the map on "for friends" in the steam workshop.

Black Fire - brilliant map. It has inspired me to get into the game again after my last city build stalled some months ago. However, I wanted to tidy up a few of the clunky intersections noted by BonBonB before starting a city.

Well... I ended up doing a bit more than just tidying up intersections, such trying out custom bridge assets for the first time and adding a couple of other details. I hope you agree that some of the vanilla bridges, while perfectly done, look a bit off compared to the dramatic scale of the landscape.

I am quite happy with my work, which has tinkered with the road and rail network but left the landscape mostly unchanged. I am thinking to make this my first upload to the workshop soon as I think others would be interested in the different take on the map, however I want to check with you if that is OK by you as the creator of the original map. Let me know - I'm also OK if you to have a look at what I've done first (though not sure how to go about that).

I really like that you are going into the details and that you are evaluating on basis of a high standard. This will keep me motivated to always try to do an even better map next time :-).

I'm getting the same message: Map theme missing. I subscribed the theme and four subcategories. Still, the map looks awesome. I applied the Realistic Map Theme.

Hi Curatrix Lerro, this problem with map themes shows up at some people. I never found out why :-/. Try to unsubscribe from map and theme + restart steam + and subscribe again OR start the map with any other or without theme + save the game as a backup file + restart CS + try now again to start with the correct theme + ignore all warnings.

Hm, I have the theme and all required assets on, but when I go to start playing it says that the custom map theme is missing. I'm at a loss here. Beautiful map though!
