Really cool mod but I've noticed that the AI tends to suicide caster heroes into melee quite a bit which has been frustrating, losing river troll hags against Belegar especially is frustrating, not sure if that's a bug or just a quirk of the AI just posting as a thing for other people to see!

During sieges the ai always sends flying troops straight over the wall so I recommend not having any of this for sieges

I know you didn't make this and have probarly no idea how to do this. But I am curious if you have idea of how this is done with AI being on your side without replace you just to assign units to them. I want to see if I can get glimpse of idea of how this is done so I can attempt to recreate the concept as mod for another rts game to act as macro automation.

Good Day,

for me nothing happens when I press Shift and F9 after selecting all my Units.

Tried it 4 Times in a Custom Battle and it didnt change anything :(

I really struggled with all the micro this game requires compared to other RTS games, this mod has not only made the game playable for me personally but ENJOYABLE. Thank you very much.

- If you use the config setting or the hotkey that automatically gives routing units to the AI when they rally, AI General will now also automatically take over units that recover from rampaging.

I personally use this mod mostly at the end of battle, when i just need to finish enemy off (and for summons most of time).
SO i find this mod to be briliant. It allows me to focus on juicy part (actually fighting battle, changing the flow of it) and leave boring parts to AI (regrouping, pursuing, finishing off).
One of mos trecommended mods by me (although not to newcomers XD)

They got improved compared to the same mod for WH1. Not improved in general.

This mod does not replace an actual player. It is meant to sit back, relax and not care how many units you lose.

In short, if you want to win and your army to do well, control it yourself.

I take that back. Archers in this mod are ATROCIOUS. Usually rack up kills w archers especially HE. I leave them w the AI and barely get 20 kills.

mod cant seem to figure out archers.... dudes will just blob up or run into the front lines half the damn time. also, if theres the slightest flank (one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unit) my whole archer line will start running everywhere

@Le druide The Script AI Planner that this mod uses is similar to but not the same as the AI that enemies use in the game. It's unclear what the differences are, but there are some things that modders don't have access to (siege battle AI is one that's specifically mentioned in the documentation).

@Dingo Also, if you prefer using a button instead of a hotkey, you can use the configuration for this mod to add a button that will toggle AI General's control over the selected units.

@Dingo In the game, go to Options > Controls, then scroll down to "Save Camera Bookmark 1". By default that is set to Shift+F9. You can change that to any key combination that you prefer. You can also do the same for Save Camera Bookmarks 2-6.

i'm having trouble with this mod, on my laptop the f9 button automatically mutes the volume... when i try to do shift + f9 on my laptop in game, it simply controls the volume and not the AI feature from this mod... what should i do?
