But why make it a model and not just a map?

The description states ITS A MODEL, NOT A MAP, just to help the poor people down below and people downloading this.

While this is a really good map, and I'll definitely be using this.. I do admit that I am rather concerned and confused on why it's a model, and not a map? I don't mind it, but I will say that's a bit confusing
