It depends on the type of texture resolution we use. He might be using 4k textures, while I try to keep them down to either 2k, or 1k if it's gonna include many.

Hey Kexx, I'm been wondering:
Why are your graphic mods so much smaller than those of ($S360)AERONAUTIC?
Does his have much less compression than yours or something?
I cannot seem to notice any obvious decal differences even on max graphics settings.
(Yes I know you 2 don't make the same skins. But you have 4-5 skins in that Asari set for 200+ MB, while 1 skin by ($S360)AERONAUTIC is 400 MB!)

I love this one, though I can't help but notice that there's occasional skin clipping during certain animations (i.e. using a Grappling hook). Probably way too late to do anything about it now.

The legs should be under the LEGS section of the customization. The number 21 is randomly assigned, because the game has a bug that doesn't allow us to name the legs (or torsos), so in my screenshot, 21 was just the amount of legs I have. For you, it could be any other number, depending on how many cosmetic mods you are using.

But it's in there, just scroll through all your leg options, you'll find it there.

Yeah, check the description, there are links to 2 mods that specifically do that, add an "empty" slot. :)

is there a way to remove the shoulder pieces on reapers etc as i cannot remove them and its been bugging me? the schoulder pieces have no ''empty'' its always active and unremovable (its the nova/samara/tal vashir)ones other than that its a nice mod

it's very weird, but basically, you need to have at least TWO options under any category, in order for it show up. If there's only one, even if it's an empty one, the game will automatically assign that one, and the category won't show.

Update: It looks like my researrch paid off. I was able to add the slider in the options menu to allow configuration of how frequent this gear can appear on new recruits, and it works as advertised. I can hand over the raw code or simply highlight what needs to be done (it should be a matter of simple addition of lines in an .int file).

Here's a guide on making cosmetics. Check the comments section for how to install the slider.

Maybe one needs to build the mod with the code applied in order for it to work.

Try using the mods link above in the description, whose main purpose is exactly that, add "None" category options to those slots.

Love this mod to pieces, used it for both Vanilla and WotC but I recently ran into a small issue. (nothing game breaking) When using it there's a chance that future armor upgrades will use parts of this mod when generating looks for the soldier. My Reaper decided to adopt Nova's pauldons with no way of removing them >.>

iirc the pauldrons setting were under the "Arms" customization(?) option which sadly the faction soldiers don't have access to
