It works! It simply works. If it doesnt for you youre not using AML and/or using conflicting mods etc didnt follow the rules for clean mod installations.

I dunno if you're still around but the INFO_FONT_SIZE var in your mod's INI doesn't actually affect the font size of the info text. It increases the size of the icons, but not the font. Otherwise, great mod.

@truonghoanglongs0p As far as I can tell there isn't an engine.ini file in the Config folder. Nevertheless, you can try right clicking XCOM 2 in Steam's library and verifying game integrity. That should bring back any necessary files, with their default configuration.

This doesn't work, I even removed all my mods, deleted all config files, did a fresh game, no extra icons above trooper health bars

hello i have been trying to make this mod works like Goblin said but im tech illiterate, do i delete all the files of config in wotc-> XComGame->config but then it says it cant start without engine.ini . How do i start the game again ?

Is it possible to only have the loot icon and nothing else – and have this mod compatible with Numeric Health Values? Or is there another mod that only adds loot icons? Any help is much appreciated!

Sal its very likely you have some sort of conflict going on. I tried doing the same thing you are and it works no problem relaunching a new save. The mod still shows everything.

My guess is you have some sort of other mod that is conflicting with this one and overwritting the config file. Make sure you dont have any UI based mods like Tactical Information Overhaul. AML should detect any conflicts however so I really dont know what could be causing that issue.

I can confirm Theocratical Goblin it does work if you follow his steps. I found out if you previously used Tactical Information Overhaul it does prevent this from working if you disabled and uninstalled it to install this.

After following Goblins comment step by step, I have no issue with the mods now. Thanks Theocratical Goblin you are awesome. His comment is 4 down.

If I have any further issues I will update. Thanks for the mod, sadly Tactical Information Overhaul caused massive framerate issues and didnt work on my Steam Deck. This mod works great with no issues.

as previously said by @Theocratical Goblin It work yes but for some reason i have to delete config folder, relaunch base game, then launch with AML for it to work, but i have to do this EVERY time i play and re do the settings. something override everything in the config and idk what, if someone know, let me know :D

Is there a way to change the color of the stat icons? Like the first that is for damage, or the crosshair for aim? I don't like the red... it pops a little too much and I'd prefer the light blue most text/icons use. Otherwise wonderful mod.

it works.
if it doesn't, try this:
1) go to the config file folder of wotc and delete ALL the contents
2) start xcom 2 to have it generate new config files
3) enable all mods through the alternate launcher
4) start xcom 2 again
5) it should work

Also not working for me, frustrating

For some reason both additional icons and perfect information are no longer working for me even if its the only mod enabled. It is sad as either one is part of what i consider core xcom2 modding

Any idea why this mod would suddenly stop working? And reinstalling, deleting or even removing all other mods, can't fix that for some reason..

if mod info 12 for enemy and other, and 16 for the reapers, why they can move over 16?

Guys DO NOT USE this mod. For like two gameplays I was suffering since geoscape was sluggish as hell but I knew it was because I had a bunch of mods.
I swear I probabaly restarted the game 20 times narrowing down the mods and finally confirmed it's this one. It sucks. IDK how loot indicator cause such slowness but it does.

Confirmed... Tested by a IT guy. Trust me I know what I'm doing :)

@Zimos that doesn't make any sense did you add a mod that overrides UIUnitFlag or are you not using Alternative Mod Launcher (AML) this mod hasn't updated in years. So no way that could be possible the way you described it.

mod not working worked fine yesterday today doesnt work

Im playing with 300 + mods, and using this one as well with ZERO issues. Maybe cause im not using any MAJOR overhaul?

Spelly83: are you sure the mod is enabled in launcher? Have you tried using any other mods from workshop?

Does not crash my game, simply does not work at all. Regular enemy health bars are displayed. Turning off health bars does not make it work - just leaves me with some kinda empty bar. And this is the only mod I have installed for the game.

Do general troubleshooting for mods not working. Common problem with XCOM 2.

i have a bug. it's the only mod and doesn't work =(

I have a bug with this mod. The armour number is overlapping with the armour icons for friendly soldiers, making the number impossible to read.

XCOM 2 is bugged with how it handles its mods. Sometimes you have to wipe out the configuration files and let the game rebuild them with default settings to fix it. There's a Steam guide, so look that up if you want further instructions.

i found why it did not work for me: i had to uncheck "show enemy life" in the base game settings.

Does not seem to want to load or work for me any more, use to work fine.

Works great for me. I'm currently using it to only show the current HP, armor and shield values on enemies. The only thing that bugs me a bit is that the armor value is also appearing on my soldiers for some reason. It seems that value is not using the right vertical offset though, because it sort of overlaps with the armor icon (looks good on enemies though).

That was really good mod but some reason isn't working now...
It can't be selected in the moding menu. I've tried everything but it doesn't work, pitty...

@VengeanceKT The mod shows base damage with no modifiers. Breakthroughs are a modifier to the damage out put, as noted in the part which shows additional damage when aiming.

Could you put in the ability to shift Shield and Armor values up and down. I tried adding the following to the .ini file::
SHIELD_OFFSET_Y = x;
ARMOR_OFFSET_Y = x;

Unfortunately, it did nothing.

Even with all other mods disabled and on a new safe, this mod still doesn't work for me.
