Hello ! I subscribed to your mob (and enabled it of course) but I can't find anywhere a way to configure it. Can you help ? Ty.
Dawnpromise 17 października 2019 o 18:58
Is there a way to set the duration within a random range?
Delscid  [autor] 10 października 2018 o 19:33
@endersblade
It appears to be compatible from a quick test. I haven't seen anything which should cause it to break, but I'll update it if it's broken somehow.
endersblade 10 października 2018 o 17:18
Obligatory "does it work with TLP" post.
Delscid  [autor] 1 lutego 2018 o 20:41
@Azuron
It should work fine, there weren't any incompatibilities last time I checked.
Azuron 31 stycznia 2018 o 23:44
Does this work with Grimmy's Loot mod?
DarthMagus 4 września 2017 o 20:57
@Delscid
Thanks again! I keep forgetting a lot of the files are in two places. I changed a few random lines for other things in the SteamFolder XCom directory many times. I wonder why the files are in two places tho.

@frizzeldian12
Ah okay, it's not in the normal XCom ini files that I can find, and it's always set to a hard-coded value after looking at the source code (which was the reason I originally made this).
Dęąth Viper 4 września 2017 o 20:53
I meant without the mod lol. If you dont mind Im trying to save space for soldier customization mods

@DarthMagus @Element UK
The most recent update did unfortunately reset configuration to default values due to the configuration file being moved, all configuration should be stable now and this should be the last update where a reset happens. Apologies for the inconvinience.

The new configuration file should be located at "...\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config\XComLootTimer.ini" or alternatively, settings can be changed using Mod Configuration Menu in game.

The ini file should be located "...\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config\XComLootTimer.ini"

I don't know where it is in the normal game files, but if you have this mod it's the XCom_LootTimer_Default file that has the changeable code line.
Dęąth Viper 4 września 2017 o 12:46
can this be edited in the ini?? If so where do I go?
DarthMagus 4 września 2017 o 10:27
@Delscid
Before the update, it also worked for me, but I did have a problem where either I didn't save the timer change from 3 to 5, whether it was because it got updated, or I just forgot to save it, or the game overrides it somehow during the tutorial, I don't know. After realizing it was still 3 I went back into the file, and sure enough it said 3 so I changed it to 5, and it's worked fine. Thanks for making and keeping up with this mod!
Element UK 4 września 2017 o 10:26
This worked fine for me until I was forced to 'Verify file cache'....and this was one of the files it replaced back to default. Goinf to try and 'write protect' it and see if that keeps it at 'false'.
Osmi ⚢ 4 września 2017 o 6:45
Just chiming in to say that I haven't tested the latest version that updated a couple of hours ago, but this mod has been working as intended for me since I subscribed. I haven't set the timer to false, but I can set the turn countdown to anything I want (I had it set to 5 for a while with no problems).
thisisvanda 4 września 2017 o 2:18
Well, when I said "it works fine", I have to say that I set the timer to false. I haven't prove with a number.
Delscid  [autor] 3 września 2017 o 19:51
@CrixOMix
Thanks for that information, that helped to narrow it down a lot. I'm still trying to find the exact issue though.
Krydax 3 września 2017 o 19:12
Not working. I have tried setting many different turn timers and it doesn't work.

HOWEVER, the "off" setting works. And if you replace true with false, it does indeed remove the turn timers.
Alister 3 września 2017 o 18:12
Not working. Tried setting .ini setting 10 turns. Still uses 3. Not using any other timer mods.
thisisvanda 3 września 2017 o 14:36
It works fine now. Thank you very much, Delscid for your mod. You are the best
pintocat 3 września 2017 o 9:17
holy crap, maybe use pastebin.com instead of all those posts.
Delscid  [autor] 3 września 2017 o 6:11
@thisisvanda
Thanks for the mod list and info on this problem. I'm working on trying to find a fix for this bug atm.
thisisvanda 3 września 2017 o 5:19

Doesn't appear to be working for me either. Edited the XComConfigurableLootTimer.ini file located in ~\workshop\content\268500\1124469629\Config to read:
+LootExpirationMaxTurns=5

Should the file be present in the ~\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config directory? (It's not).

This mod isn't working for me. I found the config file, and changed the number from 3 to 5. All the loot that drops is still on a 3 turn timer. :/

Me too, the same issue. What can you do?
Ralli 2 września 2017 o 21:30
Ur link is correct mate
Delscid  [autor] 2 września 2017 o 19:37
@CrixOMix @rylenor
Do you have any other mods enabled?
and it should be working fine with the file being in the workshop directory.

Assuming you're talking about this mod ( http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=620445360 ) then yes, it should be. If it's a different mod, please link it and I'll check it out.
Ralli 2 września 2017 o 6:58
compatible with "Expanded Loot Drops" Mod ?
piddyx 1 września 2017 o 8:02
Thank you for providing a link to the file for our convenience.

@HEY! THIS IS LIBRARY!
I think that may have been something I did accidentally with the last update, It will work with WotC in the mean time, but I'll change it back so that it shows in the launcher. Thanks for the heads up.
Delscid  [autor] 31 sierpnia 2017 o 18:54
@Lestrade
I haven't had the chance to test it yet, however I believe it should based on what I saw while updating. I'll look into it.
CSmuggler 31 sierpnia 2017 o 8:24
Hey man, the launcher says this is not compatible with WOTC. Do you need to set a flag?
Thane_Ragnar 31 sierpnia 2017 o 6:32
Does this also apply to the psi focus drops for the Templar?
Delscid  [autor] 31 sierpnia 2017 o 2:33
Yes, the loot drop will sit there until picked up, or the mission ends (as normal), they won't expire.
Zeption™ 31 sierpnia 2017 o 2:28
if you disable the timers they will never expire ?
