Yeah, tell me about it, Jericho14. I wanted the map to be at a realistic scale, and so the coast was soooo close to being inside this map, but not close enough. You guys need to stop making such sprawling cities! I'd have to use three maps just to cover Sydney
Don't worry about my comment - it was just in jest. The Ellenbrook light rail has been on the planning boards for about 10 or so years and I'm pretty sure it still hasn't got a firm starting date.
Your maps are great, so with or without anything additional they are still great.
Re: Unlimited Connections, this mod still works perfectly as it is described. I am running about 90 mods that are compatible with each other, and that is one of them.
Keep up the great work, Cities needs creators like you.
@KMABoss and @Tonberry I would have had to use a mod that allows for more than 4 rail connections, but it broke several maps including the original Perth map. You can use the mod if you like (unlimited connections) but from my experience, that's probably a really bad idea :D
Regarding the coverage of the map, it is far too gigantic to fit into a map properly with a scale that isn't silly. I would have loved to also have the shoreline. But I had to make an executive decision and I decided CBD is more important :/ Sydney has a much worse problem with being spread out. Not sure I can ever get to the shoreline, so many maps already in the works.
Oh, that's right, it's not built yet ;) lol
Perth really is a huge city (size wise) and is so sparsly populated.
Everything else on the workshop are items that very rarely cause problems in the function of your game, unless they are poorly optimized for the game. The more assets you add, the more RAM you'll be using.
So in this game, "mod" refers to a very specific type of modification, and for an important reason.
