Struggling to get this working with Unrestricted Armor Customization and its WOTC version, any ideas? I'm getting the infinite loading bug that others are mentioning, but I'm not using LWOTC or any mods that add custom classes.
Bullett00th 14 oct. 2022 la 11:52
This is one of my favorite mods on paper but I'm just about done with its BS.

I have now set the probability of a gravely wounded soldier getting a prosthetic to 5%, and EVERY TIME I get a gravely wounded soldier they need an operation. Either it doesn't work as intended or I'm the unluckiest SOB in the world and might as well get rid of the whole Augmentations package.
MarsToSirius 10 aug. 2022 la 7:01
Is the implication that the Gravely Wounded soldiers that end up with prosthetics are just getting a cosmetic swap? If so, that's great. If it's more permanent than that, well...

fuck it, downloading anyway. Cheers :D

Works for LWOTC?
What about the shadow ops soldiers? do i need to add them?
Sputnik Monroe 13 nov. 2021 la 15:10
So just to make sure, if I want to use this with LW2 Classes and Perks,

I would add this the following?

+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Assault
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Shinobi
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Sharpshooter
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Specialist
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Gunner
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Ranger
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Grenadier
+AllowedTemplates=LWOTC_Technical

And for it to work with WOTC Hero classes add this?
+AllowedTemplates=Reapersoldier
+AllowedTemplates=Skirmishersoldier
+AllowedTemplates=Templarsoldier

Do I need to do something for Psionc soldiers as well? I can't recall if LW2 Classes and Perks replaced the vanilla Psi troopers with it's own version of if the continue to be the vanilla class?
thisisvanda 11 nov. 2021 la 5:05
I'm glad it was helpful ^^
Ophis 28 oct. 2021 la 22:18
@Arkay @thisisvanda these comments were a massive troubleshooting help, thank you! I've been going through 276 mods trying to make everything balance :vahlen:
Arkay 26 apr. 2021 la 6:25
@thisisvanda I haven't had this bug, likely because I was playing with "[BETA] Clean Soldier Generation" in LWOTC, but for anyone else running it these are the lines from the wiki on LWOTC Soldier Classes.

+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Assault
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Shinobi
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Grenadier
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Sharpshooter
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Ranger
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Specialist
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Technical
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_Gunner
+AllowedTemplates=LWS_PsiOperative
thisisvanda 1 apr. 2021 la 3:16
...(continued from last comment)

+AllowedTemplates=Soldier
+AllowedTemplates=AsariSoldier
+AllowedTemplates=RM_HybridSoldier
+AllowedTemplates=TwilekSoldier
+AllowedTemplates=AlphaHeavyGunner
+AllowedTemplates=WOTC_OfficerClass
+AllowedTemplates=WOTC_OfficerClassP
+AllowedTemplates=WOTC_SecurityOfficerClass
+AllowedTemplates=LucubrationsInfantryClassWotc
+AllowedTemplates=WotCFieldMedicClass

And I set:
ProstheticChance = 25

Default is 50 (I play in commander difficulty and I don't want all my soldiers with prosthetics)

At the moment, I have no problems with my game. I hope you can fix it too.
thisisvanda 1 apr. 2021 la 3:16
I think I fixed it. I fixed the skyranger bug (infinite loading screen with the logo and the voices playing). It seems to appear when a soldier with a "new class" (added by a mod) is gravely injuried.
The mod needs to allow which mods can use the prosthetic functionality.
I think I found a solution: You have to go to your steam mod folder for XCOM 2, and then to config folder. In my case this is:

...\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1081196484\Config

You have to add the "new classes" you use in the XComGame.ini
In my case, I added these lines (I have mods for Infantry class, Heavy Gunner class, Officer class with sword and pistol and only pistol Officer class, Field Medic class and Security Officer class):
(continue in next one)
thisisvanda 24 mart. 2021 la 18:25
I love this mod. Unfortunately I had to uninstall due to the avenger bug (if someone is gravely wounded, infinite loading screen when finishing a mission and return to the avenger).
RealityMachina, what can I do? Do I have to allow special mod classes in your mod? How can I do it?
Thank you very much.
Drakten 28 apr. 2020 la 18:28
Just an FYI but the skyranger bug seems to still be there. Had to disactivate this mod unfortunately.
kenanthebarbarian 24 apr. 2020 la 18:12
Questions for @RealityMachina AND/OR anyone who knows: Does this actually work with WOTC? Has the Skyranger lockup issue been figured out? Are there interactions between this and the shaken/gravely wounded scars mods? What is best in life?
HotelCharliHill 17 mart. 2020 la 0:49
nevermind.. it's required.
HotelCharliHill 17 mart. 2020 la 0:31
does thjsi mod work with "Augments: XCOM Prosthetics" or will it conflict? Is it doing the same thing?
StickyBackPlastic 29 nov. 2019 la 0:44
Love this Mod! But I do wish the Prosthetic(s) would occur when back to active duty, and not as they limp off the skyranger. Other than that, nailed it!
flakemclane13 6 aug. 2019 la 19:28
@Colonel Cadaver She was wearing Kevlar Armor. In cosmetics she had "Cybernetic" for arms but I had her customized that she actually had the "Thin Arms" and was wearing "Shen Gloves" Not sure how it was set to cybernetic arms as it did not display as cybernetics and typically when I customize I put arms at none then customize the arms individually unless they are "set" arms. Could the fact it was cybernetic arms in the arm slot in customize possibly caused the issue? Do you play with this mod anymore? I am about to try and disable.. finish the mission and see if it works that way and then try and enable again. Not sure what to do or if I should just disable this most and the prosthetic mod. I also use the mod: Gravely Wounded Scars. Not sure if that is an issue?
Colonel Cadaver 6 aug. 2019 la 14:01
@flakemclane13 What armour was she wearing? For working around it, I just roll a dice when someone is wounded and if it is a 4,5,6 I take off a leg :)
flakemclane13 6 aug. 2019 la 8:38
@colonel cadaver I am having the same problem. I read your message so went back into my game I was having this issue.. ran my poor little soldier into fire. Got her dead quick and then did evac and everything works. I would like to continue using this mod as its rad but not sure what a fix around is for this,,if any. Anyone have thoughts? Advice?
Colonel Cadaver 2 aug. 2019 la 13:46
Hi. I think this mod is the cause a soft lock that I encountered after finishing a mission and heading back to the Avenger. During the mission one of my team was gravely wounded. When completing the mission it would load up the loading screen, you could hear the VO in the background but it would never actually load into the Avenger. I repeated this three times to see if it was a consistent lock up and it was every time. After disabling this modification the game loaded into the Avenger correctly. It might be a coincidence.

Orionox 29 ian. 2019 la 20:19
how does this work with "augmented?"
tiktaalik 27 dec. 2018 la 9:39
Or they do and the problem is in my TV? :)
tiktaalik 27 dec. 2018 la 9:38
This is a very cool mod, but, the prosthetics don't work with warden armor, do they?
Snork 18 dec. 2018 la 20:22
Thanks Dragon, I see it now and yes I had that installed already :s

Damn, I really don't get why mine behaves this way, i just can't figure out what to do.
Dragon32 18 dec. 2018 la 19:17

Snork 18 dec. 2018 la 6:06
hey dragon, EXACTLY which mod should it be? I have a prosthetic, arm and separate shoulders and more. I have many cosmetic mods.

But maybe I don't have the exact right one as i don't see any requirements listed in the text above.
Dragon32 17 dec. 2018 la 11:03
@Snork:
Are you subscribed to the Required Mod? All this one does is give wounded soldiers a chance of having a prosthetic.
Snork 17 dec. 2018 la 9:15
I was hoping that it'd have a standard skin it'd apply for each tier/type of augment.

Because i end up having to manually customize the soldiers appearance, which would let me make a fully cyborg soldier look totally normal. I just choose the cyborg/augment looking pieces myself.

It'd help immersion wise if this happened automatically though. Is this working as intended or am I experiencing a sort of bug?
Snork 17 dec. 2018 la 9:12
Is this mod meant to automatically apply a skin when you give a soldier an augment? Because right now in my game it just makes whatever body part i augment invisible
Soory Charlie 12 nov. 2018 la 12:40
Like Sputnik Monroe, I'm wondering how this interacts with Gravely Wounded Scars and/or [WOTC]Shaken Scars Are Back!
{HB} SharkMan λ 9 oct. 2018 la 19:36
crashes alot with this mod :(
flashfireball 16 iun. 2018 la 0:07
getting a crash in the charactor pool from this mod
Sputnik Monroe 24 mai 2018 la 21:10
Thank's @RealityMachina. Dumb follow up question, but is it case sensitive? for example +AllowedTemplates=ReaperSoldier or +AllowedTemplates=reapersoldier
RealityMachina  [autor] 24 mai 2018 la 6:27
You would want to use ReaperSoldier, TemplarSoldier, and SkirmisherSoldier.
Sputnik Monroe 24 mai 2018 la 0:58
@Dick Justice I know it's been two monthes since you posted so maybe you found the answer elsewhere. But I don't think it'll work. In the XcomGame.ini in the mod folder there is a section that list +AllowedTemplates=Soldier plus a few mods soldier types. In theory if you were to add the lines +AllowedTemplates=Reaper +AllowedTemplates=Skirmisher and +AllowedTemplates=Templar to that it should then work with them. But that's in theory, I don't know if that'll actually work.
Sputnik Monroe 2 mai 2018 la 2:41
Is this compatible with Gravely Wounded Scars?
Dick Justice 26 apr. 2018 la 2:47
Does this work with the special faction-specific prosthetics? Or would it need to be updated? - https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1365024614
nintendoeats 9 apr. 2018 la 11:35
I just had to disable this mod in order to get to the skyranger return screen. One of my soldiers, who did not have a prosthetic, was critically wounded. I tried reloading the save several times and it was not until I disabled this mod that I could continue. Otherwise it works very well, it has succesfully applied prosthetics to some of my soldiers.
Jiroguitar 13 ian. 2018 la 13:14
its compatible whit WOTC? thanks I love this mod
Phantom 9 ian. 2018 la 3:00
wotc compatible? thanks
escapegoat 30 nov. 2017 la 7:53
@Dragon32

Whoo - glad I didn't edit anything then. Thanks, I appreciate it!
Dragon32 29 nov. 2017 la 13:30
@nlelam198
Uh. How the hell did you get there?
You want to edit the XcomGame.ini file to
ProstheticChance = 20
Done
escapegoat 29 nov. 2017 la 12:04
@Dragon32:

I currently have it open, I just want to be sure that I'm looking at the right line of code so I don't break anything. Here's what I'm currently looking at:

if((i > 50 && i <= 75) || (i <= 50 && X2ArmorTemplate(ItemTemplate).ArmorTechCat == 'powered'))
{
do
{
BodyPartTemplate = BodyPartMgr.GetRandomUberTemplate("LeftArm", Filter, Filter.FilterByTorsoAndArmorMatch);

} until (BodyPartTemplate.DLCName == 'Augments');

UnitState.kAppearance.nmLeftArm = BodyPartTemplate.DataName;

So if I change out that first 50 for an 80, and the second one for a 20, would that give me the desired result?

Thanks

Read the last paragraph of the description.
escapegoat 29 nov. 2017 la 7:06
Hey everyone - sorry if this is a particularly dumb question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway:

I am very, very interested in implementing this mod into my current campaign, however I would like to lower the likelyhood of a soldier getting a prosthetic to something more in the 20% range. I have no idea how to mod. Could someone give me a clue into what line of code I'm looking for? I imagine it is just a matter of changing a digit, but if I'm wrong please let me know.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
TraeStation 7 oct. 2017 la 17:30
Good news everyone!

Spart117MC - Expect a port by the end of the week 01OCT@1440

May we all rejoice in anticipation!
Arkhangel 15 sept. 2017 la 17:45
@Mink: he can't until the base mod is updated as well, and that might be awhile. Spart's modding computer went screwball. you can bet though, the moment it is, RM'll be happy to update this.
RealityMachina  [autor] 12 sept. 2017 la 19:20
@ConfusingDalek Yes.
Lyra 12 sept. 2017 la 18:41
Does a save work after removing this mod?
MissingNo 8 sept. 2017 la 22:32
hey mate, would you update this for WOTC? should be fairly straightforward: https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/6x3lfm/updating_your_mod_for_wotc/
