@BeeKing you can find this mod at:
[STEAM DIRECTORY] \SteamApps\workshop\content\281990\1074841707

For rename "humans1/humans2":
open 00_top_countries.txt in "prescripted_countries" folder and rename that as you wish (lines 2 and 71).

I just deleted "prescripted_countries" folder =)

P.S.: This is just my proposed solution, which I got by adjusting the mod files. At least this is how I solved the issue for myself.
BeeKing 7 de jul. às 5:22
Now I have Humans1 and Humans2 as extra hard coded species.... Any way to fix it?
Johnny Helldiver 24 de mai. às 4:08
Is there anyway i can get a fat, obese lazy slob as a human portrait? How else am i supposed to play a hedonistic fascist empire with a fixation for spice?
Dax 17 de mai. às 15:59
This mod appears to generate two random human factions for me. "humans1" and "humans2"
[ID] ChronicDiarrhea 15 de mai. às 9:36
Is it expected to have default 2 human factions dissapear from selection after installing this mod?
Exodus 9 de mai. às 20:13
Works in 3.12 Machine Age. See my below comment for additional details.
Exodus 5/dez./2023 às 16:02
This mod STILL WORKS in 3.10. You MUST use it with *Remastered Human Portraits: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1591647610 .

Load this mod first and then *Remastered Human Portraits.

I only have 3 human mods installed, but they all work if loaded in this exact order:

Human Variety
*Remastered Human Portraits
SE-Human-Hair

I would just go ahead and make one honestly. Who knows what happened to this guy..
tilarium 2/out./2023 às 14:28
Considering his last comment was Dec 29, 2019 @ 11:55pm, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for him to answer.
Ranger 2/out./2023 às 12:19
@Okami Hey do we have permission for one of us to use the assets from this mod to make an updated one?
Chuckawookie 17/set./2023 às 10:51
Why is this so complex though? Is a couple of .png too much to ask from the legendary Stellaris devs that add content to old DLCs? I really wish I had the time to learn to do this.

Here lies my Hopes and Dreams to find a functional and decent Human portrait mod for Stellaris.
Eyleus 17/jul./2023 às 4:46
It has finally stopped working completely for me - RIP
Jungfaha 24/jun./2023 às 18:09
@maximili5n ur cool! thanks for taking the time to share that :)
Forst 23/jun./2023 às 9:05
I don't think I can be bothered, honestly. But thank you for taking the time to offer a fix.
maximili5n 22/jun./2023 às 11:00
Found a fix, if you can be bothered!

1. Find the Human_Variety zip file in the workshop file.
2. Copy it, paste it somewhere like your downloads, and extract it.
3. Open it, go into gfc > models > portraits > human.
4. Find the clothing you want your male and female ruler to wear by default.
5. Copy them into another folder to edit them.
6. Find the portrait folder by going into wherever you have steam downloaded, Steam > Stellaris > gfc > models > portraits > human
7. Take the two portraits from the human variety pack you copied and rename the female one to "human_female_clothes_royal" and the male one to "human_male_clothes_royal",
8. Drag the human variety portraits, renamed, and drag them into the stellaris steam folder containing the portraits from step 6.
9. Click replace file in destination.
10. Enjoy the rulers having the correct clothes you want for them!

(If anyone could mod this into a patch pls let me know, I'm not talented enough for that)
maximili5n 22/jun./2023 às 10:10
I think it broke with Paragons in the respect the Human Ruler always seems to wear a specific outfit I don't think was intended as it does not reflect the above examples?
Forst 4/jun./2023 às 12:17
Currently for me I can't use the mod as it says it's missing a descriptor file. It had worked fine previously then today it just can't load it into the game. I tried reinstalling it but that hasn't worked either. I don't know if this is a issue with the mod or something else, but I figured i'd mention it. One other mod of mine is also having the issue, though it also worked fine previously.
Eru_Maewos 21/mai./2023 às 20:53
Still works - I'm regularly playing with it in 3.8. -

It doens't affect the newest human portraits - only the old ones -.
cojoes 4/mar./2023 às 18:10
Does this work for 3.6?
jamesmanson801 23/dez./2022 às 10:47
Does not work. Regular human portraits. Nothing more.
truelove101992 14/dez./2022 às 1:09
Would you be willing to add the naming conventions options from Humans Plus?
voncolberg 29/out./2022 às 21:09
To others who have experienced similar issues: I have been having versions of the UNE and CoM in my empire seletion list and they were name Humans1 and Humans2. These would spawn in game. If you want to get rid of them, you need to go into the files of this mod and deleted the "prescripted_countries" file.
Exodus 21/set./2022 às 22:02
As of 3.5, this mod still functions when used with *Remastered Human Portraits.
Doctor Proteus 23/jul./2022 às 12:31
Has this mod stopped working for anyone else? Strangely it was working for me not long ago, then I disabled it to do some tests, and then reactivated it, and now it isn't working for me. Any ideas what could have gone wrong?
Greenshadow 6/jul./2022 às 7:22
Well at least the old human portraits are back, now we just need a mod that has these clothes for the old portraits and same, but made fit clothes for the new portraits
Kerovanka 13/jun./2022 às 16:19
hi. Me need the old version of the mod 2017 years. i am play on 1.9.1 game.
if the old version saved, please, give it to me.
thanks.
tilarium 13/mai./2022 às 4:56
Not on it's own. You need to use *Remasted Human Portraits to overwrite the new style of human portraits.
boothebest 13/mai./2022 às 2:50
so will this work now?
✚ Anajamois 12/mai./2022 às 22:34
Oh lord, if only this was a way to bring back these human styles.

Considering that Okami hasn't posted since 29 Dec, 2019 and the mod was last updated on 15 Jun, 2019, I'm going to say no.
ScorpionariusDK 12/mai./2022 às 12:53
New update seems to have broken this. sadly.
Any chance for an update?
幕乀府 4/mai./2022 às 8:38
好哇,好!
tilarium 23/fev./2022 às 7:33
Why wouldn’t it be? Achievement compatibility isn’t based on version, it’s based on the files in the kid. If the kod files didn’t change then it wouldn’t have lost its achievement compatibility.
Evil-Genius 23/fev./2022 às 6:57
is still achievement compatible in 3.3?
KingVinoda 21/fev./2022 às 16:14
Hello, I think there's a glitch where my leader is immortal for no reason. She's currently 200 years old and I don't believe I used a console command for that.
eternien 29/jan./2022 às 1:08
Achievement compatible ?
tilarium 27/dez./2021 às 16:09
@lelkr The mod isn't dead, the mod works fine in the current version barring any mod conflicts and so it doesn't need an update.
lelkr 27/dez./2021 às 16:07
Dead
tilarium 15/dez./2021 às 5:05
Not with this mod. Try other mods.
lelkr 14/dez./2021 às 20:35
I mean like will there ever be more rulers, like with armour?
lelkr 14/dez./2021 às 20:35
update ?
SilverHawk 4/dez./2021 às 10:41
Works fine on Stellaris 3.2.2. Launcher says it's out of date, but it works normally.
Mugen 30/nov./2021 às 15:43
it doesnt matter if its out of date - It still works, thats why it hasnt been updated. just play it
tilarium 27/nov./2021 às 15:09
Are you just coping and posting your message to every mod in the workshop without actually seeing if they work? This one works, I know it does because I'm using it.
